전북교육청은 29일 라루체 회의실에서 도내 14개 교육지원청의 학교폭력대책심의위원회 소위원장과 간사 70여 명을 대상으로 역량 강화 연수를 실시했다.

학교폭력대책심의위원회는 교원, 학부모, 경찰, 청소년 전문가 등으로 구성된 교육지원청 소속 법정위원회로, 학교폭력 관련 사안을 심의한다.

이번 연수에서는 △심의위원장의 역할 △학교폭력 및 심의 절차에 대한 이해 △행정심판 절차 등 주요 내용이 다뤄졌으며, 가해학생 조치의 적절성, 분쟁조정 실효성, 신속한 심의 개최 등 현안에 대한 지역 의견도 공유됐다.

김지유 민주시민교육과장은 “안전하고 평화로운 학교 문화를 위한 심의위원들의 노력에 감사드린다”며 “공정하고 교육적인 조치가 이루어질 수 있도록 계속 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 29th, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education conducted a capacity-building training for about 70 vice-chairpersons and secretaries of the school violence prevention committees of 14 education support offices in the province at the La Luche Conference Room.

The school violence prevention committees are statutory committees under the education support offices composed of teachers, parents, police, and youth experts, responsible for deliberating on school violence-related matters.

During this training, key topics such as the role of the committee chairperson, understanding of school violence and deliberation procedures, and administrative adjudication procedures were covered. Discussions also included sharing regional opinions on current issues such as the appropriateness of measures for offending students, effectiveness of conflict resolution, and prompt scheduling of deliberations.

Kim Ji-yu, the head of the Democratic Citizen Education Department, expressed gratitude for the efforts of the committee members towards creating a safe and peaceful school culture, stating, "We will continue to support to ensure fair and educational measures are implemented."
