전북특별자치도와 새만금 고용특구 일자리 지원단은 오는 6월 5일 군산 새만금컨벤션센터(GSCO)에서 ‘2025 새만금 JOB Going with 이차전지’ 일자리 박람회를 개최한다.

이번 행사는 새만금 국가산업단지의 고용특구 지정과 이차전지 산업을 중심으로 한 지역 전략에 따라 청년 일자리 창출과 지역 인재 정착을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다. 전북도와 군산시, 군산고용복지플러스센터, 전북테크노파크, GSCO가 공동 주관한다.

박람회에는 전북 주요 대학과 공공기관, 공기업, 이차전지 관련 40여 개 유망 기업이 참여해 부스를 운영하며, 채용정보 제공, 현장 면접, 기업 설명회 등이 진행된다.

부대 프로그램으로는 1:1 맞춤형 취업 컨설팅, AI 면접 체험, 워라밸관, 취업 사진 촬영, 공공기관 채용설명회, 금융 및 AI 실무 특강 등이 마련된다. 직업계고 학생들을 위한 이차전지 기업 현장 탐방 프로그램도 함께 운영된다.

이번 박람회에 처음 참여하는 새만금고용특구일자리지원단은 구직자 모집과 기업 채용 연계, 고용 지원 홍보 등의 역할을 맡는다.

김인태 전북특별자치도 기업유치지원실장은 “이번 박람회는 새만금 고용특구의 실질적 출발점”이라며 “지속 가능한 양질의 일자리 창출과 지역 인재 정착을 위해 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다

North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province and Saemangeum Employment Special Zone Support Team will host the '2025 Saemangeum JOB Going with Secondary Batteries' job fair at the Gunsan Saemangeum Convention Center (GSCO) on June 5.

This event was organized to support the creation of youth jobs and the settlement of local talents based on the regional strategy focusing on the designation of the Saemangeum National Industrial Complex as an employment special zone and the secondary battery industry. It is jointly organized by North Jeolla Province, Gunsan City, Gunsan Employment Welfare Plus Center, North Jeolla Techno Park, and GSCO.

The fair will feature over 40 promising companies related to secondary batteries, major universities, public institutions, public enterprises, and will provide recruitment information, on-site interviews, and company briefings.

Additional programs include tailored job consulting, AI interview experiences, work-life balance, job photo shoots, public institution recruitment briefings, financial and AI practical lectures. There will also be a program for vocational high school students to visit secondary battery companies.

The Saemangeum Employment Special Zone Support Team, participating in this fair for the first time, will be responsible for recruiting job seekers, connecting them with companies for employment, and promoting employment support.

Kim In-tae, Director of the North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province's Business Attraction Support Office, stated, "This fair marks the practical starting point for the Saemangeum Employment Special Zone," and expressed his commitment to "work hard for sustainable, high-quality job creation and the settlement of local talents."
