<2024 모종의 모임_온라인 세미나 모습>

(재)전주문화재단(대표이사 최락기)이 호주 멜버른과의 국제 협업 프로젝트인 ‘2025 전주-멜버른 예술인 교류 프로그램 <모종의 모임(Seedling Sessions)>’에 참여할 국내 예술인을 공개 모집한다.

올해로 3년째를 맞는 이 사업은 전주문화재단과 호주 멜버른시 산하 어린이 예술기관 ‘아트플레이(ArtPlay)’가 함께 추진하는 문화예술교육 국제교류사업으로, 디지털 기반의 실험적인 콘텐츠 개발을 통해 지역 예술인의 창작 역량을 강화하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

모집 대상은 최근 3년 이내 전주시 또는 멜버른시에서 활동 이력이 확인 가능한 예술인이며, 연령·예술 장르·외국어 능력에는 제한이 없다. 단, 전주문화재단 또는 아트플레이의 어린이 대상 문화예술교육 사업 참여 경험이 있는 경우 우대된다.

지원 희망자는 6월 15일까지 전주문화재단 공고문에 안내된 구글폼을 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 서류 심사와 온라인 면접을 거쳐 최종 참가자가 선정된다. 결과는 7월 3일 전주문화재단 및 팔복예술공장 누리집에 발표될 예정이다.

최종 선정된 참가자에게는 약 2개월간 개인당 160만 원 상당의 활동비가 지급된다. 외국인의 경우 환전 후 지급된다.

교류 프로그램은 오는 7월부터 9월까지 약 2개월간 온라인으로 진행된다. 전주와 멜버른에서 각각 3명의 예술인을 선발해 1:1 매칭을 구성하며, 참여자들은 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 총 5회의 온라인 세미나와 팀별 자율회의를 통해 협업 콘텐츠를 공동 창작하게 된다.

완성된 결과물은 오는 9월 ‘2025 예술놀이축제’에서 참여형 전시 형태로 일반에 공개될 예정이다.

최락기 전주문화재단 대표이사는 “이번 교류 프로젝트를 통해 참여형 예술의 경계를 확장하고, 어린이 중심의 문화예술교육 콘텐츠를 실험하는 국제 협업 모델을 제시하고자 한다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonju Cultural Foundation (CEO Choi Rak-gi) is publicly recruiting domestic artists to participate in the international collaboration project '2025 Jeonju-Melbourne Artist Exchange Program ' with Australia's Melbourne.

Now in its third year, this project is a cultural arts education international exchange program jointly conducted by the Jeonju Cultural Foundation and the children's art institution 'ArtPlay' under the City of Melbourne, aiming to enhance the creative capabilities of local artists through the development of experimental digital-based content.

The recruitment targets artists who have been active in Jeonju or Melbourne within the past three years, with no restrictions on age, art genre, or foreign language proficiency. However, preference will be given to those who have experience participating in cultural arts education programs for children conducted by the Jeonju Cultural Foundation or ArtPlay.

Applicants can apply through the Google Form provided in the Jeonju Cultural Foundation's announcement until June 15. Final participants will be selected through document screening and online interviews. The results will be announced on July 3 on the Jeonju Cultural Foundation and Palbok Art Factory websites.

Selected participants will receive approximately 1.6 million won per person as activity expenses for about two months. For foreigners, the payment will be made after currency conversion.

The exchange program will take place online from July to September. Three artists from Jeonju and Melbourne will be selected each, forming 1:1 matches. Participants will engage in orientation, five online seminars, and team meetings to collaboratively create content.

The completed works will be publicly exhibited in a participatory form at the '2025 Art Play Festival' in September.
