원광대학교(총장 박성태) 평생능력개발원이 글로컬대학30 사업의 일환으로 ‘생명산업 특성화 교육과정’ 학습자를 모집한다.

이번 교육과정은 지역사회와 협력해 생명산업 분야 평생능력개발을 지원하기 위한 것으로, 2025년 상·하반기로 나눠 총 18개 과정이 운영된다.

상반기 교육은 6월 9일부터 선착순 모집을 시작해 78월 진행되며, 노인돌봄 및 병원동행, 파크골프, ERP회계, 무인멀티콥터 등 9개 과정이 운영된다. 하반기 교육은 8월 11일부터 모집해 911월 진행되며, 실버인지놀이, AI활용, 반려동물관리, 숲생태체험 등 다양한 과정이 마련된다.

원광대는 생애주기별 맞춤형 교육을 통해 농생명 기술 고도화와 청년 창업, 고령층 재취업 등 지역 수요에 대응할 계획이다.

김선남 평생능력개발원장은 “지역대학과 지역사회가 함께 성장하는 연계 협력 모델을 구축해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Wonkwang University (President Park Sung-tae) Lifelong Learning Center is recruiting learners for the 'Specialized Education Program in the Life Industry' as part of the GloCal University 30 project.

This education program is aimed at supporting lifelong learning in the life industry field through collaboration with the local community, and a total of 18 courses will be offered in the first and second halves of 2025.

The first half of the education will start recruitment on June 9th and run through July, offering 9 courses including elderly care and hospital accompaniment, park golf, ERP accounting, unmanned multicopter, among others. The second half of the education will start recruitment on August 11th and run through September, offering various courses such as silver cognition games, AI utilization, pet care, and forest ecology experience.

Wonkwang University plans to respond to local demand by providing tailored education for different life stages, focusing on advanced agricultural and life technology, youth entrepreneurship, and re-employment for the elderly.

Kim Sun-nam, the director of the Lifelong Learning Center, stated, "We will continue to build a collaborative model that promotes the growth of both local universities and communities."
