군산시는 오는 25일 군산새만금컨벤션센터에서 관내 기업을 대상으로 ‘주한미군 조달시장 진출사업 설명회’를 개최한다.

이번 설명회는 침체된 지역경제 활성화를 위해 군산시와 주한미군 411계약사령부가 공동 주관하며, 지역 업체들이 주한미군 조달시장에 진출할 수 있도록 등록 절차와 계약 방식 등 실무 정보를 제공할 예정이다.

특히 주한미군 측 통역 가능자가 직접 진행하며, ▲사업자 등록 및 계약 방식 ▲미 해군 해외 원정 다중 수주 계약 ▲미 국방부 물류청 소개 ▲입찰 전략 등 실질적인 내용을 다룬다.

조달시장 진출 가능 분야는 △전시·일반용역 △건설·건축 계약 △물품구매 등으로 다양하다.

Gunsan City will hold a "Briefing Session on Entering the US Forces Procurement Market in Korea" for local companies at the Gunsan Saemangeum Convention Center on the 25th.

This briefing session, jointly organized by Gunsan City and the US Forces 411th Contracting Command to revitalize the stagnant local economy, will provide practical information on registration procedures and contract methods for local companies to enter the US Forces procurement market.

In particular, interpreters from the US Forces will directly conduct the session, covering practical topics such as business registration and contract methods, multiple overseas procurement contracts by the US Navy, introduction to the US Department of Defense Logistics Agency, and bidding strategies.

The possible fields for entering the procurement market include exhibition and general services, construction and architecture contracts, and purchasing goods, among others.

An official from Gunsan City expressed hope that this briefing session would serve as an opportunity for local companies to enter the international market and urged for active participation.
