전주문화재단이 음식과 인문학의 조화를 시민들과 함께 나눈다.

(재)전주문화재단(대표이사 최락기)은 오는 7월 2일부터 16일까지 매주 수요일, 한국전통문화전당에서 한식 인문학 강연 프로그램 ‘전주에서 맛보는 한식 이야기’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 올해로 5회를 맞은 이 강연은 한식의 문화적 가치와 스토리를 시민들과 공유하는 자리로, 무료로 진행된다.

이번 특강의 주제는 ‘화(和)’다. 음식의 조화로움을 넘어 사람과 문화의 어우러짐까지 아우르는 개념으로, 강연은 한류, K-푸드, 미식관광 등 다양한 키워드를 중심으로 구성된다.

전주시민 누구나 사전 신청 없이 참여할 수 있으며, 강연은 오후 7시부터 열린다. 이번 7월 강연에 이어 오는 9월에도 추가 특강이 예정돼 있어 한식에 관심 있는 시민들의 지속적인 참여가 기대된다.

최락기 전주문화재단 대표이사는 “한식은 단순한 먹거리를 넘어 우리 삶과 정신이 담긴 문화”라며 “이번 특강을 통해 시민들이 한식을 더 깊이 이해하고, 문화로서 향유할 수 있는 기회가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Jeonju Cultural Foundation Shares Harmony of Food and Humanities with Citizens

The Jeonju Cultural Foundation (CEO Choi Rak-gi) announced that they will be hosting a weekly lecture program titled 'Tasting Korean Stories in Jeonju' at the Korean Traditional Culture Center from July 2nd to 16th. This lecture, which is in its 5th year, aims to share the cultural value and stories of Korean food with citizens and will be conducted free of charge.

The theme of this special lecture series is 'Harmony (화)', a concept that goes beyond the harmony of food to encompass the fusion of people and culture. The lectures will be structured around various keywords such as Hallyu, K-Food, and culinary tourism.

Any Jeonju citizen can participate in the lectures without prior registration, and they will begin at 7 p.m. Following the July lectures, additional special lectures are scheduled for September, anticipating continuous participation from citizens interested in Korean food.

CEO Choi Rak-gi stated, "Korean food is a culture that goes beyond mere sustenance, embodying our lives and spirits," and expressed hope that through these lectures, citizens will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Korean food and enjoy it as a cultural experience.
