전주시 평화도서관은 28일 오후 2시 시민 50명을 대상으로 ‘전라북도, 한반도 역사문화의 꽃심Ⅰ’ 인문학 강의를 개최했다.

올해 세 번째로 열린 이번 강의는 김경민 전라북도 역사문화교육원 원장이 강사로 나서 ‘꽃심’의 어원과 공공역사의 개념, 마한부터 이어지는 전라도 역사 연대기를 중심으로 강연을 진행했다.

이번 인문학 강의는 전북공연예술진흥연합회와 함께 지역 문화와 역사를 알리기 위한 프로그램으로, 3월부터 7월까지 총 4차례에 걸쳐 매월 넷째 주 토요일에 열린다. 다음 강의는 7월 26일 같은 주제로 이어질 예정이다.

한 수강생은 “그동안 ‘꽃심’이라는 말의 의미가 궁금했는데 강의를 통해 해소됐다”며 “역사 보전에 시민 모두가 참여해야 한다는 점이 인상 깊었다”고 말했다.

On the 28th, the Jeonju Pyeonghwa Library held a humanities lecture titled 'The Essence of History and Culture in Jeollabuk-do and the Korean Peninsula Part I' for 50 citizens at 2 p.m.

The third lecture of the year was conducted by Kim Gyeong-min, the director of the Jeollabuk-do History and Culture Education Institute, who spoke about the origin of 'essence' and the concept of public history, focusing on the history of Jeollado from Mahan onwards.

This humanities lecture, held in collaboration with the Jeonbuk Performing Arts Promotion Association, is a program aimed at promoting local culture and history. It will take place four times from March to July on the fourth Saturday of each month. The next lecture is scheduled for July 26 on the same topic.

One of the attendees said, "I was curious about the meaning of 'essence' for a while, and it was resolved through the lecture," adding, "It was impressive to learn that all citizens should participate in preserving history."
