전주교육대학교 제5회 졸업동문들로 구성된 예술 단체 '전오회'가 제12회 정기전시회를 7월 6일(일)부터 12일(토)까지 전북교육문화회관 2층 전시실에서 개최한다.

올해 전시는 사진, 회화, 서예, 시 등 다양한 장르의 작품 40여 점이 선보인다. 참가 작가는 선광 김재우, 우보 임기옥, 원정 최현, 호정 방기종, 연봉 이춘수, 영산 윤춘흥, 강동일, 이원유, 안도, 혜운 오양수, 심산 정경룡, 삼보 이계석 등 12명으로, 이들은 교육자 출신이라는 공통된 배경을 바탕으로 예술 활동을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다.

전오회는 2008년 김진회 초대 회장을 중심으로 창립되었으며, 예술적 성취보다는 동문 간의 우정과 삶의 진실성을 나누는 데 중점을 두고 활동을 이어오고 있다. 특히 5회 전시부터는 시, 수필 등 문학 분야까지 영역을 넓혀 전시의 깊이를 더하고 있다.

이춘수 회장은 인사말에서 “고령화 사회에서 여든의 문턱에서 창작 열정을 이어간다는 것은 특별한 의미”라며, “지속적인 건강 관리와 창작 활동을 통해 우리 모임이 오래도록 이어지기를 바란다”고 전했다.

이번 전시는 일반 시민 누구나 무료로 관람 가능하다. 주최 측은 “동문 작가들의 오랜 시간 축적된 삶과 예술의 흔적을 통해 감동과 성찰의 시간을 나누길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

The art group 'Jeonohoe,' composed of the 5th graduating alumni of Jeonju National University of Education, will hold its 11th regular exhibition from July 6th (Sunday) to the 12th (Saturday) at the 2nd floor exhibition hall of Jeonbuk Education and Culture Center.

This year's exhibition will showcase over 40 works in various genres such as photography, painting, calligraphy, and poetry. Participating artists include Seonkwang Kim Jaewoo, Ubo Im Kiok, Wonjeong Choi Hyeon, Hojeong Bang Kijong, Yeonbong Lee Chunsu, Youngsan Yoon Chunheung, Kang Dongil, Lee Wonyu, Ando, Hyeun Oyangsu, Samsan Jung Gyeongryong, Sambu Lee Gyesuk, among 12 others, who have been consistently engaged in artistic activities based on their common background as educators.

Jeonohoe was founded in 2008 with Kim Jin-hoe as the inaugural chairman, focusing on fostering friendship among alumni and sharing the authenticity of life rather than artistic achievements. Since the 5th exhibition, they have expanded their scope to include literature such as poetry and essays, enhancing the depth of their exhibitions.

Chairman Lee Chunsu expressed in his message, "Continuing creative passion at the threshold of eighty in an aging society holds special significance," and hoped that "our group will continue for a long time through continuous health management and creative activities."

This exhibition is open to the general public free of charge. The organizers stated, "We hope to share moments of inspiration and reflection through the traces of life and art accumulated over the years by our alumni artists."
