(재)완주문화재단(이사장 유희태)은 ‘2025년 장애예술교육 지원사업’의 일환으로 운영되는 <사이:예술학교>에 참여할 예술가를 공개 모집한다고 16일 밝혔다.

<사이:예술학교>는 장애와 예술, 지역과 사람을 예술로 연결하는 새로운 교육 플랫폼으로, 예술가가 주체가 되어 장애예술인과 소통하며 예술교육을 실천하는 데 중점을 둔 사업이다.

모집 대상은 완주에서 활동 중이거나 활동이 가능한 예술인으로, 분야 제한 없이 장애예술교육에 관심이 있는 사람이면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 선발 인원은 약 10명 내외이며, 선정된 예술가는 2025년 7월부터 12월까지 완주군 전역에서 예술교육 활동을 진행하게 된다.

예술가들은 연구모임(총 8회)에 참여해 교육 프로그램을 함께 기획하고 실행하며, 회당 15만 원(최대 6회)의 교육 활동비와 연구모임비(총 40만 원), 전문가 멘토링 등을 지원받는다.

심사는 1차 서류심사와 2차 ZOOM 인터뷰로 이뤄지며, 예술 전문성과 교육에 대한 이해도, 장애에 대한 인식, 협업 역량 등을 평가한다. 특히 완주 거주 예술인이나 장애예술 관련 경험자에게는 가산점이 주어진다.

최종 선정 결과는 2025년 8월 8일(금) 완주문화재단 홈페이지(www.wfac.or.kr)에 공지된다. 이후 오리엔테이션, 파일럿 프로그램 운영, 결과 공유회 등이 이어질 예정이다.

정철우 완주문화재단 상임이사는 “이번 사업은 지역 예술가에게 장애와 예술을 연결하는 창의적 예술교육 실천의 기회를 제공할 것”이라며 많은 참여를 당부했다.

is a new educational platform that connects disability and art, local communities, and people through art. It focuses on artists taking the lead in practicing art education by communicating with disabled artists.

The recruitment targets artists who are currently active or able to work in Wanju, and anyone interested in disability arts education, regardless of their field, can apply. The selection will be around 10 people, and the selected artists will conduct art education activities throughout Wanju County from July to December 2025.

The artists will participate in research meetings (a total of 8 sessions), plan and execute educational programs together, and receive education activity fees of 150,000 won per session (up to 6 sessions), research meeting fees (total of 400,000 won), expert mentoring, and more.

The evaluation process consists of a first-round document review and a second-round ZOOM interview, assessing artistic expertise, understanding of education, perception of disabilities, collaboration skills, etc. Additional points will be given to Wanju residents who are artists or have experience in disability arts.

The final selection results will be announced on the Wanju Cultural Foundation website (www.wfac.or.kr) on August 8, 2025 (Friday). Subsequent activities will include orientation, pilot program operation, result sharing sessions, and more.

Jung Cheol-woo, Executive Director of the Wanju Cultural Foundation, stated, "This project will provide a creative opportunity for local artists to connect disability and art through practical art education," and urged for active participation.
