전교조 전북지부는 이날 기자회견문에서 “2025년 3월 6일 오전 11시 30분경 전북교육신문 기자가 학부모들과 함께 전주미산초등학교를 방문하여 특정 교사의 발령 및 담임 배정 과정에 대해 의문을 제기했다”고 주장하였다. 그러나 이는 명백한 허위사실이다.

전북교육신문은 2025년 3월 6일 해당 학교를 처음 단독으로 방문하였으며, 어떤 학부모와도 동행하거나 공동 방문한 사실이 없다. 본지 기자는 행정실을 통해 공식적인 취재를 요청하고, 학교 측의 안내에 따라 출입 절차를 준수하였으며, 당시 해당 담임 교사가 본관 현관문까지 배웅한 사실도 확인된다.

전교조 전북지부가 이러한 객관적 사실과 다른 주장을 공식 기자회견문을 통해 유포한 것은, 본지에 대한 명백한 명예훼손이며 언론의 독립성과 신뢰성을 훼손하는 행위다. 더욱이, 해당 기자가 취재한 기사 내용은 공익적 목적에 기반한 정당한 언론 활동이며, 특정인의 신상이나 명예를 훼손할 의도가 전혀 없었음을 밝힌다.

Furthermore, the content of the article covered by the reporter was a legitimate journalistic activity based on the public interest, with no intention to harm the personal information or reputation of any individual.

The Jeonbuk Education Newspaper demands an immediate correction, distribution of corrective materials, and an official apology regarding the false information presented by the Jeonbuk branch of the National Teachers Union.
