전북교육청이 8일 전주 청동북카페에서 교원·학생·학부모가 함께하는 ‘고교학점제 정책 간담회’를 열고 현장 의견을 수렴했다.

전주중앙여고, 서림고, 무주고, 전주대사범대학부설고 교원과 학생·학부모 대표가 참석해 운영상 어려움과 개선 방안을 논의했다. 주요 안건은 고교학점제 운영의 어려움, 학교 간 협력체제 구축, 학생 선택권 확대 등이었다.

교원들은 나이스 출결관리, 최소 성취수준 보장지도, 공강시간 학생 관리, 생활기록부 기재 과다 등을 어려움으로 꼽았다. 한 학생은 “배우고 싶은 과목을 선택할 수 있어 수업이 더 재미있고, 앞으로 더 다양한 과목이 개설되면 좋겠다”고 말했다. 한 학부모는 “아이 스스로 과목을 선택하고 책임감 있게 공부하는 모습을 보면서 자기주도적 학습 태도가 향상되는 것을 느낀다”며 “학부모도 제도에 대한 이해를 넓힐 수 있도록 지속적인 안내와 소통이 필요하다”고 제안했다.

On the 8th, the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education held a policy discussion meeting on the high school credit system at the Cheongdongbuk Cafe in Jeonju, where teachers, students, and parents gathered to share their opinions.

Teachers and representatives of students and parents from Jeonju Central High School, Seorim High School, Muju High School, and Jeonju National University of Education Affiliated High School attended the meeting to discuss operational difficulties and improvement measures. The main agenda items included the challenges in operating the high school credit system, establishing a cooperative system among schools, and expanding student choice rights.

Teachers identified difficulties such as managing attendance through the NICE system, ensuring a minimum level of achievement guidance, managing students during free periods, and excessive entries in the student record book. A student mentioned, "Being able to choose the subjects I want to learn makes classes more enjoyable, and I hope more diverse subjects will be offered in the future." A parent suggested, "Seeing my child choose subjects and study responsibly enhances their self-directed learning attitude," and emphasized the need for continuous guidance and communication to broaden parents' understanding of the system.
