군산시 드림스타트가 여름방학을 맞아 8일 아동 15명을 대상으로 대전 국립중앙과학관 견학을 실시했다.

이번 견학은 방학 기간 아이들의 과학적 호기심과 창의력 향상을 위해 마련됐으며, 참가 아동들은 열린과학교실, 상설전시관, 천체관 등을 둘러보며 자연과학에 대한 흥미를 높이고 진로를 탐색하는 시간을 가졌다.

한 아동은 “가보고 싶었던 과학관에서 재미있는 경험을 많이 할 수 있어 좋았다”며 “앞으로도 이런 기회가 많았으면 한다”고 말했다. 또 다른 아동은 “별자리 이야기가 신기했고 천문학자가 되고 싶다는 생각이 들었다”고 전했다.

군산시 드림스타트는 앞으로도 다양한 문화·체험 프로그램을 통해 아동의 건강한 성장과 정서 지원에 나설 계획이다.

During the summer vacation, Gunsan Dream Start organized a field trip to the Daejeon National Science Museum for 15 children on the 8th.

This field trip was arranged to enhance children's scientific curiosity and creativity during the vacation period. The participating children had the opportunity to explore open science classrooms, permanent exhibitions, and the astronomical observatory, increasing their interest in natural science and exploring career paths.

One child said, "It was great to have many fun experiences at the science museum I wanted to visit," adding, "I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future." Another child expressed, "The stories about constellations were fascinating, and it made me want to become an astronomer."

Gunsan Dream Start plans to continue supporting children's healthy growth and emotional well-being through various cultural and experiential programs in the future.
