국립군산대학교 RISE사업단이 7일 한국산업단지공단 전북지역본부, 전북연구개발특구와 공동으로 ‘2025 딥테크 RISE-UP 창업경진대회’를 군산 에이본 호텔에서 개최했다.

전북지역 첨단소재, 청정에너지, 반도체, AI 등 딥테크 분야 스타트업을 지원하기 위해 마련된 이번 대회에는 22개 기업이 참가해 서류·발표 심사를 거쳤다. ‘액화수소탱크 극저온 단열 설계·시공’ 아이템을 발표한 ㈜하이솔이 대상을, ㈜모나와 ㈜에이피그린이 최우수상을 각각 수상했다.

수상 기업에는 최대 3억 원 투자유치 기회, 군산 R&D센터·리팩토리 1차 입주 우선권, R&D 지원 등 혜택이 주어진다.

장민석 RISE사업단장은 “전북의 미래 신산업을 선도할 유망 창업기업을 발굴한 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “지역 혁신 창업 생태계 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 7th, the RISE Project Team of Kunsan National University, in collaboration with the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation's Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters and Jeonbuk Research and Development Special Zone, held the '2025 Deep Tech RISE-UP Startup Competition' at the Avon Hotel in Gunsan.

This competition, organized to support startups in the fields of advanced materials, clean energy, semiconductors, AI, and other deep tech areas in the Jeonbuk region, saw 22 companies participate and undergo document reviews and presentations. Hi-Sol Co., Ltd., presenting the 'Low-temperature Insulation Design and Construction of Liquefied Hydrogen Tanks' item, won the grand prize, while Mona Co., Ltd., and AP Green Co., Ltd., received the Excellence Awards.

The winning companies will be provided with opportunities for up to 300 million won in investment, priority for initial occupancy at the Gunsan R&D Center and Refinery, as well as R&D support.

Jang Min-seok, head of the RISE Project Team, stated, "It was a meaningful event to discover promising startup companies that will lead the future new industries in Jeonbuk," adding, "We will strive to foster a regional innovative startup ecosystem."
