완주군은 지난 13~14일 취약계층 아동 30명을 대상으로 ‘금융 똑똑! 경제 똑똑!’ 금융교육을 실시했다. 이번 교육은 드림스타트 아동들이 어릴 때부터 올바른 경제관념을 형성하고 성인이 되어 건전한 경제생활을 할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

교육은 초등 저·고학년으로 나눠 진행됐으며, KSD 나눔재단의 강사와 교재 지원으로 체계적인 강의가 이뤄졌다. ‘움직이는 돈 이야기’를 주제로 올바른 소비 습관과 저축의 중요성을 다뤘고, 금융 빙고·용돈관리 보드게임 등 체험 활동도 병행돼 큰 호응을 얻었다.

박기완 아동친화과장은 “금융 지식이 아동 눈높이에 맞춰 쉽고 재미있게 전달됐기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 아동들의 균형 잡힌 성장을 위한 맞춤형 서비스를 적극 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 KSD 나눔재단은 사회공헌 활동의 일환으로 취약계층 아동을 위한 금융, 문화, 진로 교육 프로그램을 지속 운영하고 있다.

The education was divided into elementary and middle school grades and was conducted systematically with instructors and teaching materials provided by KSD Sharing Foundation. The theme was 'The Story of Moving Money,' focusing on proper spending habits and the importance of saving. Activities such as financial bingo and allowance management board games were also carried out alongside the lectures, receiving a great response.

Park Gi-wan, head of the Child-Friendly Department, expressed hope that financial knowledge was conveyed in an easy and enjoyable way suitable for children and stated, "We will actively promote tailored services for the balanced growth of children in the future."

Meanwhile, KSD Sharing Foundation continues to operate financial, cultural, and career education programs for vulnerable children as part of its social contribution activities.
