전북대학교 산학협력단 지역아동센터전북지원단(단장 최현영)은 지역 다문화 아동의 문화체험과 진로탐색 기회를 제공하기 위해 12일부터 14일까지 문화해설 교류탐방캠프를 개최했다. 이번 캠프는 사회복지공동모금회가 LG 지정기탁으로 후원하는 다문화아동 지원사업 ‘우리마을 문화다리(문화를 잇:다)’의 일환으로 진행됐다.

군산·익산·남원·장수·정읍 등 도내 5개 거점지역아동센터 아동과 종사자들이 참여했으며, 세계자연유산 탐방, 문화융합 토크콘서트, 문화 해설 실습, 다문화 리더십 게임 등 다양한 프로그램이 운영됐다. 아동들은 직접 문화해설사 역할을 체험하며 리더십과 표현력을 기르고, 문화융합 토크콘서트에서는 서로의 문화적 배경과 경험을 나누며 포용의 가치를 배우는 시간을 가졌다.

참여 아동들은 “직접 설명하며 문화해설사가 된 기분이었다”고 소감을 전했다. 최현영 단장은 “다문화 아동이 사회적 자산으로 성장할 수 있도록 지역사회와 협력해 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 전북지원단은 전북 지역 287개 지역아동센터를 대상으로 교육, 컨설팅, 평가 등을 지원하며, 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 다양한 특화 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.

The Sanhak Collaboration Division of Chonbuk University, the Jeonbuk Regional Support Team for Local Children's Centers (led by Director Choi Hyeon-young), held a cultural interpretation exchange exploration camp from the 12th to the 14th to provide cultural experience and career exploration opportunities for multicultural children in the region. This camp was part of the multicultural children support project 'Our Village Cultural Bridge (Connecting Cultures)' sponsored by the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea through LG's designated donation.

Children and staff from five key regional children's centers in Gunsan, Iksan, Namwon, Jangsu, and Jeongeup participated in activities such as exploring world natural heritage sites, cultural fusion talk concerts, cultural interpretation practice, and multicultural leadership games. The children had the opportunity to experience the role of cultural interpreters, develop leadership and expressive skills, and learn about the value of inclusivity by sharing their cultural backgrounds and experiences during the cultural fusion talk concert.

The participating children shared their impressions, saying, "It felt like being a cultural interpreter while explaining things directly." Director Choi Hyeon-young stated, "We will continue to collaborate with the local community to support multicultural children to grow as social assets."

Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Regional Support Team supports 287 local children's centers in Jeonbuk with education, consulting, evaluation, and operates various specialized programs through the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea.
