전북현대모터스FC(이하 전북현대)가 ‘광복 80주년’을 기억하는 방법이 많은 팬들에게 울림을 전했다.

전북현대가 지난 16일, 대구FC와 K리그1 홈경기에서 ‘광복 80’ 주년을 팬들과 함께 기억하기 위해 의미 있는 시간을 선사했다.

이날 전주월드컵경기장을 찾은 2만 3천여 명의 관중은 경기 시작 전부터 특별한 시축 장면에 숨을 죽였다.

시축의 주인공은 대한민국 독립운동가 ‘도산 안창호’ 선생의 외손자인 ‘필립 안 커디’ 씨였다.

그는 독립운동가 후손들과 교류를 이어나가며, 교육 활동을 통해 도산 선생의 유산을 기억하고 알리는 역할을 해오고 있으며 이날 전북현대를 찾아 광복 80주년의 의미를 더욱 뜻깊게 만들었다.

전북현대는 ‘필립 안 커디’씨의 시축과 함께 AI 기반의 영상 복원 기술을 활용해 전광판에 ‘도산 안창호’ 선생의 생전 모습을 되살렸다.

전주성에 나타나 팬들과 손자를 맞이하는 듯한 따뜻한 도산의 미소가 재현되자, 경기장 곳곳에서는 깊은 존경심이 담긴 함성과 박수가 이어졌다.

하프타임에는 전북대학교 윤영완, 박민주 학생의 광복 80주년 기념 공연이 이어지며 현장의 울림은 한층 짙어졌다.

또한 이날 경기 입장 티켓도 광복 80주년을 기념하는 특별 디자인을 적용해 제작됐다.

필립 안 커디씨는 경기 후 “뜻깊은 자리에 초청받아 감사하고 영광스럽다”며 “팬분들의 열정과 진심이 담긴 목소리는 진한 감동이었다. 다시 이 전주성에 올 수 있는 날을 고대하며 언제든 함께 하겠다”며 감격스러운 소회를 전했다.

한편, 이날 경기에서 전북현대는 대구FC를 상대로 3:0 승리하며 22경기 무패 행진을 이어갔다.

During halftime, a performance commemorating the 80th anniversary of liberation by Yoon Young-wan and Park Min-ju, students of Jeonbuk University, further intensified the atmosphere at the venue.

Moreover, the entrance tickets for the game were specially designed to commemorate the 80th anniversary of liberation.

After the game, Philip Ahn Cuddy expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am grateful and honored to be invited to this meaningful occasion," and added, "The passion and sincerity of the fans were deeply moving.
