전북특별자치도 어린이국악관현악단(지휘 강한준)이 오는 31일 오후 4시, 한국소리문화의전당 연지홀에서 제21회 정기연주회 ‘달 아래 피어난 해’를 선보인다.

2004년 창단한 전북특별자치도 어린이예술단(단장 이정석) 산하 국악관현악단은 그간 도내 전통음악에 재능 있는 어린이들을 발굴·육성하며, 예술을 통한 성장과 협력의 가치를 꾸준히 실천해왔다. 매년 5회 이상의 공연을 이어온 단체는 지금까지 260여 명의 단원을 배출했으며, 졸업생들은 예술계와 사회 각 분야에서 주도적으로 활동하고 있다.

이번 공연은 광복 80주년을 기리고, 2036 전주올림픽 유치의 염원을 담아 다채로운 레퍼토리를 마련했다. 첫 무대는 넌버벌 타악 퍼포먼스 〈북장대소〉로 힘차게 시작된다. 다양한 리듬과 사운드로 광복의 격동기를 지나 새로운 희망을 표현한다. 이어지는 양방언의 실내악 〈프론티어〉는 진취적인 태평소 선율로 청소년 단원들의 패기를 보여준다.

세 번째 곡 〈하늘의 뜻〉은 안중근 의사의 애국정신을 음악으로 기리며, 역사적 의미를 되새기는 시간으로 꾸며진다. 이어 판소리 협주곡 〈춘향가 中 어사상봉〉은 춘향과 몽룡의 재회를 통해 기쁨과 위안을 전하며, 마지막 무대는 국악관현악 〈소리놀이1+1〉로 현대사회 속 잃어버린 따뜻한 소리를 되찾자는 메시지를 전한다.

공연은 약 60분간 진행되며, 도민 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있다. 티켓은 21일 오전 10시부터 전북도립국악원 홈페이지에서 예약 가능하며, 잔여석은 현장에서 선착순으로 배부된다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Children's Traditional Music Orchestra (conducted by Kang Han-jun) will present the 21st regular concert "The Sun Blossoming under the Moon" at 4 p.m. on the 31st at the Yeonji Hall of the Korean Sound Culture Center.

Established in 2004, the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Children's Arts Group (led by Lee Jeong-seok) has been discovering and nurturing talented children in traditional music within the province, consistently practicing the values of growth and collaboration through art. The orchestra, which has held performances more than five times a year, has produced over 260 members to date, with graduates actively leading in various fields of arts and society.

This performance, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Korean Liberation and expressing the aspiration for the 2036 Jeonju Olympics bid, has prepared a diverse repertoire. The first stage will kick off energetically with the non-verbal percussion performance "Bukjangdaeso," expressing the tumultuous era of liberation through various rhythms and sounds, transitioning into a new hope. The following chamber music piece "Frontier" by Yang Bang-yeon showcases the youthful vigor of the teenage members with a progressive melody.

The third piece, "Will of the Sky," pays musical tribute to the patriotic spirit of Dr. Ahn Jung-geun, providing a time to reflect on historical significance. The pansori concerto "Chunhyangga - Meeting of Chunhyang and Mongryong" conveys joy and comfort through the reunion of Chunhyang and Mongryong, while the final stage, the traditional music orchestra piece "Sound Play 1+1," delivers a message of rediscovering the lost warm sounds in modern society.

The performance will last about 60 minutes, and all residents can attend for free. Tickets can be reserved on the Jeonbuk Provincial Traditional Music Institute website starting at 10 a.m. on the 21st, with remaining seats distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue.
