전주 삼천생활문화센터가 9월부터 어린이들의 창의성과 협동심을 키우기 위한 독창적인 예술 교육 프로그램 두 가지를 선보인다. 프로그램은 ▲전시 창작 프로젝트 ‘엉뚱 상상 제작소’와 ▲영화 제작 실습 중심의 ‘예술 영화 캠프’로 구성됐다.

먼저, ‘엉뚱 상상 제작소’는 9월 24일부터 11월 26일까지 총 11회에 걸쳐 진행된다. 아이들이 ‘나만의 공간’을 주제로 직접 기획·제작하고 전시까지 완성하는 참여형 프로그램이다. 특히 목공 수업을 통해 ‘나만의 의자’를 제작하는 과정을 포함, 결과물을 실제 전시 공간에 선보이며 성취감과 자존감을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다.

이어 10월 17일부터 11월 14일까지 열리는 ‘예술 영화 캠프’는 총 7회차로 진행된다. 영화의 기초 이론부터 1박 2일 집중 촬영 실습, 자체 영화제 개최까지 아우르는 프로그램으로, 어린이들이 영화 제작의 전 과정을 직접 체험할 수 있다. 특수분장 수업도 포함돼 아이들의 흥미를 한층 높일 예정이다.

삼천생활문화센터 관계자는 “이번 프로그램은 단순히 지식을 주입하는 방식에서 벗어나 아이들이 주도적 창작자로 성장할 수 있도록 마련했다”며 “많은 아이들이 참여해 자신의 끼와 재능을 발견하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Jeonju Samcheon Life Culture Center will introduce two innovative art education programs from September to nurture children's creativity and cooperation. The programs consist of the exhibition creation project 'Whimsical Imagination Studio' and the art film camp centered on film production practice.

First, the 'Whimsical Imagination Studio' will run from September 24 to November 26 for a total of 11 sessions. It is a participatory program where children plan, produce, and complete their own space-themed projects for exhibition. The program includes woodworking classes to create 'my own chair,' aiming to showcase the results in an actual exhibition space to boost a sense of achievement and self-esteem.

Following that, the 'Art Film Camp' will take place from October 17 to November 14 for a total of 7 sessions. The program covers film theory basics, a 1-night 2-day intensive filming practice, and even hosting a self-film festival, allowing children to experience the entire process of film production firsthand. Special makeup classes are also included to further pique the children's interest.

An official from Samcheon Life Culture Center stated, "These programs are designed to help children grow into proactive creators rather than simply receiving knowledge passively," adding, "We hope many children participate and discover their talents and creativity."
