‘자기주도 학습센터’는 중‧고등학생들을 대상으로 학생들이 사교육 없이 스스로 공부할 수 있는 공간과 다양한 교육‧학습 프로그램을 제공하는 사업으로 올해 첫 시행됐다.
‘자기주도 학습센터’에서는 개별 열람실·모둠 학습공간·휴게실 등으로 구성된 학습공간을 제공하며, 학습 코디네이터를 배치하여 이비에스(EBS) 연계 학습관리 서비스*도 제공한다. 아울러 대학생 연계 화상 지도(튜터링)를 통해 주요 교과목(영어, 수학) 질의응답 및 학습상담을 지원한다.
2025년 자기주도 학습센터 공모에는 14개 시도교육청에서 77개 센터가 지원하여 총 50개 센터(학교 안 25개, 학교 밖 25개)가 선정되었다.
학교 안에 설치되는 센터는 재학생 또는 인근 학교 중고생들을 대상으로 하며, 학교 밖 센터는 지역에 거주하는 중고생들을 대상으로 자체 기준에 따라 희망자를 선발하여 운영하게 된다. 이번에 선정된 자기주도 학습센터는 오는 12월부터 순차적으로 개소할 예정이다.
The Ministry of Education announced on the 3rd that a total of 50 self-directed learning centers in 14 regions, including 5 centers in Jeollabuk Province, have been selected as '2025 Self-Directed Learning Centers'.
In Jeollabuk Province, 'Kimje Creative Arts Future Space Daum', 'Gochang Creative Arts Future Space NuriGo', 'Okcheon Talent Training Center', 'Jangsu Youth Dream Moonlight', and 'Jeongeup Creative Arts Future Space Byulmuri' were selected.
The 'self-directed learning centers' are spaces that provide middle and high school students with the opportunity to study without private education and offer various educational and learning programs. This initiative was first implemented this year.
The 'self-directed learning centers' provide study spaces consisting of individual reading rooms, group study spaces, and lounges, and also offer EBS-linked learning management services by deploying learning coordinators. Additionally, they support Q&A and learning counseling for major subjects (English, math) through university student-led online tutoring.
In the selection process for the 2025 Self-Directed Learning Centers, 77 centers from 14 regional education offices applied, and a total of 50 centers (25 within schools, 25 outside schools) were selected.
The centers installed within schools target current students or high school students in nearby schools, while the centers outside schools will select and operate based on their own criteria for high school students residing in the area. The self-directed learning centers selected this time are scheduled to open sequentially starting from December.
