전북교육청, 2026년도 예산에 도민 의견 적극 반영

전북교육청이 2026년도 전라북도교육비특별회계 예산 편성에 도민 의견을 적극 반영한다.

전북교육청은 4일, 지난 6월 25일부터 8월 22일까지 진행한 주민참여예산 의견수렴에 총 1,994명이 참여했다고 밝혔다. 이는 전년도보다 222명이 증가한 수치로, 참여자 중 학부모가 37.5%, 학생 34.4%, 교직원 22.6%, 일반 도민이 5.5%를 차지했다.

의견수렴은 설문조사와 의견서 제출 방식으로 이뤄졌으며, 진로교육·예술교육·학력신장 등 총 294건의 의견이 접수됐다. 전북교육청은 관련 부서의 검토를 거쳐 예산에 반영할 계획이다.

설문조사 결과, 도민들은 확대 지원이 필요한 분야로 ▲학력신장(28.5%) ▲안전한 학교(27.9%) ▲책임교육(10.4%)을 꼽았으며, 10대 핵심과제 중에서는 ▲독서인문교육(28.4%) ▲수업혁신(27.9%) ▲교과학습 강화(13.3%)에 대한 선호가 높았다.

또한 구체적 우선과제로는 개념기반탐구수업, 진로 멘토링, 생태전환 교육, 학교 민원 대응 체계 강화 등이 선정됐다. 학생 설문에서도 진로교육, 예체능, 외국어 교육 등에 대한 관심이 높게 나타났다.

전북교육청은 도민 참여를 통해 예산의 공정성과 교육정책의 실효성을 높여나간다는 방침이다. 이상곤 예산과장은 “현장 의견을 반영해 인문독서, 수업혁신, 진로·예체능 분야의 예산을 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 4th that a total of 1,994 people participated in the citizen participation budget opinion collection conducted from June 25 to August 22. This figure increased by 222 people compared to the previous year, with parents accounting for 37.5% of participants, students 34.4%, educational staff 22.6%, and general residents 5.5%.

The opinion collection was conducted through surveys and submission of opinions, with a total of 294 opinions received on topics such as career education, arts education, and academic improvement. The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education plans to incorporate these opinions into the budget after review by the relevant departments.

According to the survey results, residents identified areas needing expanded support as academic improvement (28.5%), safe schools (27.9%), and responsible education (10.4%). Among the top 10 key tasks, there was a high preference for humanities education through reading (28.4%), classroom innovation (27.9%), and strengthening curriculum and learning (13.3%).

Furthermore, specific priority tasks selected included concept-based inquiry classes, career mentoring, eco-transition education, and strengthening the school's response system to complaints. High interest in career education, physical education, and foreign language education was also evident in student surveys.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education aims to enhance the fairness of the budget and the effectiveness of educational policies through public participation. Director Lee Sang-gon stated, "We will strengthen the budget for humanities reading, classroom innovation, and career and physical education fields by reflecting on-site opinions."
