완주군이 추진 중인 ‘청년도전 지원사업’ 참여 청년들이 지난 4일 우석대학교 체육관에서 열린 ‘2025 완주군 일자리박람회’에 참석해 취업 역량을 강화했다.

이날 박람회에는 청년 30여 명이 참여해 채용관, 컨설팅관, 체험·홍보관 등 다양한 부스를 방문하며 실질적인 구직 정보를 얻고 자신을 점검하는 시간을 가졌다. 참가자들은 기업 인사담당자와의 면접, 이력서·면접 클리닉, 적성검사 등을 통해 진로 설계에 도움을 받았다.

완주군은 지난해 고용노동부 공모를 통해 청년도전지원사업을 본격화했으며, 올해는 참여 규모를 확대해 총 8개 기수 120명을 목표로 운영 중이다. 현재까지 46명이 수료했고, 30명이 교육에 참여하고 있다.

송미경 완주군 경제정책과장은 “이번 박람회가 청년들이 직접 취업 시장을 체감하고 진로를 탐색하는 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 지원을 통해 청년들의 자립과 사회 진입을 돕겠다”고 밝혔다.

완주군은 현재 9월 중순 개강 예정인 5주 과정 교육생을 모집 중이다. 최근 6개월간 취업·교육·직업훈련 등에 참여하지 않은 만 18~34세 청년이면 누구나 신청 가능하며, 참여 수당 50만 원이 지급된다.

신청은 ‘청년메카완주’ 홈페이지 내 구글폼 또는 고용24(www.work24.go.kr)를
통해 가능하며, 자세한 문의는 캠틱종합기술원 일자리사업기획팀(063-219-0412~3, 0450)으로 하면 된다.

On that day, about 30 young people participated in the fair, visiting various booths such as recruitment, consulting, experience, and promotion booths to obtain practical job information and self-assessment time. Participants received help in career planning through interviews with corporate HR managers, resume and interview clinics, and aptitude tests.

Wanju County officially launched the Youth Challenge Support Project last year through a public offering by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and this year, it is operating with the goal of expanding participation to a total of 8 sessions and 120 participants. So far, 46 individuals have completed the program, and 30 are currently participating in the education.

Song Mi-kyung, head of the Economic Policy Department in Wanju County, expressed hopes that "this fair will be an opportunity for young people to directly experience the job market and explore career paths" and stated, "We will continue to assist young people in achieving independence and social integration through various support measures."

Wanju County is currently recruiting students for a 5-week course scheduled to start in mid-September. Any young person aged 18-34 who has not participated in employment, education, or vocational training in the past 6 months can apply, and a participation allowance of 500,000 won will be provided.
