전북특별자치도립국악원(원장/유영대, 이하 국악원)은 2025년 하반기 <목요상설 가·무·악>을 11일부터 11월 27일까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 무료공연으로 선보인다. 공연은 한국소리문화의전당 명인홀 오후 7시 30분.

하반기 공연은 전통의 맥을 잇고 전통과 현대의 조화를 통해 새로운 미래 가치를 창조해 나아가는 무대로 마련했다. 11일 전북특별자치도 무형유산 <장문희, 김세미 심청가>와 25일은 <오인오색 소리열전Ⅱ>로 창극단이, 10월 16일은 <풍류의 밤‘연(連)’>을 관현악단이 마련하였고, 11월 13일은 <전통에 물들고, 예술로 즐기자>로 예술 3단 합동공연으로, 27일은 유파별로 보는 한국의 춤 <시대를 바라보다>로 무용단이 대미를 장식한다.

11일은 판소리의 계보를 잇고 있는 대표적인 여류명창이자 장문희, 김세미 명창의 동초제‘심청가’를 한자리에서 만날 수 있는 특별한 무대로, 고수에는 국가무형유산 판소리고법 이수자 조용복 명고가 함께 한다.

장문희 명창은 조선 후기 팔명창 중 한 명인 이날치의 증손녀이자 친이모인 이일주 명창에게 소리를 사사 받았으며, 타고난 성음과 애절한 소리가 특징이다. 이번 무대에서는 심청가 중 ‘곽씨부인 유언대목~젖동냥 대목까지’ 판소리의 깊은 감동을 전한다.

제30회 전주대사습놀이 명창부 장원(대통령상)을 수상하였고, 국립극장, 전주세계소리축제 <심청가, 춘향가, 적벽가>를 완창, 전북특별자치도 무형유산 판소리 심청가 보유자이자 전북특별자치도립국악원 창극단 수석으로 다방면으로 활발하게 활동하고 있다.

김세미 명창은 외조부 추담 홍정택과 외조모 김유앵 명창의 계보를 잇는다. 탄탄한 공력과 수려한 성음이 특징으로 홍정택(수궁가), 오정숙(춘향가, 심청가, 흥보가) 명창에게 사사 받았으며 이번 무대에서 동초제 심청가 中 타루비 대목~방아타령 대목까지 들려주며 판소리의 진수를 느낄 수 있다.

제28회 전국판소리명창경연대회(현 대한민국 춘향국악대전)에서 명창부 장원(대통령상)을 수상하였고, 국립창극단, 전주세계소리축제, 국립국악원 <흥보가, 심청가, 춘향가, 수궁가>를 완창하였으며, 전북특별자치도 무형유산 판소리 수궁가 보유자이자 전북특별자치도립국악원 창극단 수석으로 다양한 활동을 이어가고 있다.

동초제 심청가는 동초 김연수 명창이 판소리 명창들의 소리 중 장점만 모아 재구성한 소리로, 극적 짜임새가 뛰어나고 너름새가 정교한 것이 특징이다.

본 공연은 만 8세 이상 관람가로 각 공연 일주일 전 오후 1시부터 국악원 홈페이지를 통해 예매할 수 있다. 티켓 가격은 무료이며 남는 좌석은 현장에서 선착순으로 받을 수 있다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center (Director Yoo Young-dae, hereinafter referred to as the Gugak Center) will present the "Thursday Regular Gukak Performance" in the second half of 2025 from the 11th to November 27th for a total of 5 free performances. The performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Hall of Masters of the Korean Sound Culture Center.

The performances in the second half of the year have been prepared as stages that continue the tradition, harmonize tradition and modernity to create new future values. On the 11th, the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Intangible Cultural Heritage will be presented, and on the 25th, the Changgeukdan will present . On October 16th, the Orchestra will present , and on November 13th, there will be a joint performance of three arts titled . Finally, on the 27th, the Dance Troupe will decorate the finale with .

On the 11th, a special stage will feature the representative female singers who continue the tradition of Pansori, Jang Mun-hee and Kim Se-mi, performing the Simcheongga, a masterpiece of the two renowned singers. The performance will also feature the national intangible cultural heritage Pansori master Cho Yong-bok.

Jang Mun-hee is a descendant of Yi Nalchi, one of the Eight Masters of the late Joseon period, and she inherited her voice from her niece and aunt, the renowned singer Yi Il-ju. Known for her innate vocal tone and poignant voice, she will deliver deep emotions of Pansori through the Simcheongga in this performance.

Having won the 30th Jeonju Daesaseupnori Singing Competition Master Division (Presidential Award), Jang Won is actively engaged in various activities as the head of the Changgeukdan at the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center, being the holder of the Pansori Simcheongga, an intangible cultural heritage of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

Kim Se-mi, on the other hand, continues the lineage of her grandfather, the renowned singer Hong Jeong-taek, and her grandmother, the renowned singer Kim Yu-ang. Known for her solid vocal skills and elegant vocal tone, she received training from Hong Jeong-taek (Sugungga) and Oh Jeong-suk (Chunhyangga, Simcheongga, Heungboga). In this performance, she will showcase the essence of Pansori through the Simcheongga, from the Tarubi to the Bangatarang.

Having won the 28th National Pansori Singing Competition (currently the Republic of Korea Chunhyang Gugak Festival) Master Division (Presidential Award), Kim Se-mi continues her diverse activities as the head of the Changgeukdan at the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center, being the holder of the Pansori Sugungga, an intangible cultural heritage of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

The Dongchoje Simcheongga, created by the renowned singer Kim Yeon-soo, is a sound that combines the strengths of various Pansori singers, characterized by its dramatic structure and intricate nuances.

This performance is rated for ages 8 and above. Tickets can be reserved through the Gugak Center's website from 1 p.m. a week before each performance. The tickets are free, and any remaining seats can be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue.
