전북현대 축구교실 ‘그린스쿨’ 회원과 가족들이 가을 하늘 아래 축구 축제를 즐겼다.

전북현대가 지난 27일 전주대학교 대운동장에서 실시한 ‘2025 그린스쿨 컵’을 성대하게 마쳤다.

그린스쿨은 전북현대가 축구를 배우고 싶은 어린이(6세~초등6학년)와 성인을 대상으로 운영하는 축구교실로 지난 2010년 유소년 보급반으로 시작해 현재 도내 약 17개 필드에서 주중과 주말에 강습을 진행하고 있다.

이번 ‘2025 그린스쿨 컵’은 6세부터 초등 6학년까지 총 133개 팀의 회원 1,200여 명을 비롯해 함께한 가족까지 포함하여 4천여 명이 6년 만에 한데 모여 치러졌다.

그린스쿨 컵 대회는 2019년까지 각 필드의 회원들이 모두 한자리에 모여 기량을 뽐내는 대회로 운영해 왔으나 이후 코로나로 인해 인근 지역 필드별로 축소하여 실시했다.

대회는 14개의 특설 필드에서 연령대별 6 vs 6 조별리그를 치러 최다 승점 팀이 우승하는 방식으로 진행됐으며 최종 우승팀에게는 우승 메달과 우승 패치가 전달됐다.

대회 장소에는 축구뿐만 아니라 타투 스티커, 다트 축구, 슈팅 속도 측정 등 다양한 이벤트를 마련해 즐길거리를 제공했다.

전북현대는 이번 그린스쿨 컵 대회에 참가하는 모든 어린이 회원에게 그린스쿨 전용 바람막이와 장갑을 선물해 축구 축제에 참여하는 기쁨을 더했다.

한편, 그린스쿨은 현재 강습 받는 어린이 회원 외에 700여 명이 등록을 대기 할 정도로 많은 인기를 얻고 있다.

Jeonbuk Hyundai successfully concluded the '2025 Green School Cup' held at Jeonju University Main Stadium on the 27th.

Green School is a soccer school operated by Jeonbuk Hyundai for children (ages 6 to elementary school 6th grade) and adults who want to learn soccer. It started as a youth introductory class in 2010 and currently conducts training on weekdays and weekends at around 17 fields in the province.

The '2025 Green School Cup' brought together about 4,000 people after 6 years, including over 1,200 members from 133 teams ranging from 6 years old to elementary school 6th grade, as well as their families.

The Green School Cup tournament has been held until 2019 where members from each field gathered to showcase their skills, but due to COVID-19, it was conducted by reducing the fields to nearby areas.

The tournament was held with age-specific 6 vs 6 group league matches at 14 special fields, and the team with the most points won the championship. The ultimate champion team received championship medals and patches.

In addition to soccer, various events such as tattoo stickers, dart soccer, and shooting speed measurement were prepared at the tournament venue to provide entertainment.

Jeonbuk Hyundai added to the joy of participating in the soccer festival by gifting Green School exclusive windbreakers and gloves to all children members participating in the Green School Cup tournament.

Meanwhile, Green School is gaining significant popularity, with over 700 people on the waiting list for registration, in addition to the current children members receiving training.
