전북인물작가회가 30일부터 11월 5일까지 우진문화공간 1층 갤러리에서 기획전 ‘인간과 자연 : 공존의 초상’을 개최한다. 이번 전시는 전북인물작가회와 울산인물작가회가 공동으로 마련한 첫 교류전으로, 두 지역 작가들이 예술로 하나 되는 뜻깊은 자리가 될 전망이다.

전북인물작가 16명과 울산인물작가 15명 등 총 31명이 참여하며, 서양화와 한국화 등 다양한 평면회화 작품이 전시된다. ‘인간과 자연의 공존’을 주제로 한 이번 전시는 각 작가의 시선과 감성을 담아 인간과 자연의 관계를 탐구하고, 지역 간 예술 교류의 의미를 확장하고자 기획됐다.

전북인물작가회는 2000년 창립 이래 인물화에 대한 연구와 기획전을 이어오며 인물화 장르를 보다 친숙하게 전달하는 데 힘써왔다. 이번 교류전은 서로 다른 지역에서 예술 창작의 씨앗을 키워온 두 단체가 ‘인간과 자연의 공존에 대한 초상’을 통해 예술적 열정과 인간에 대한 사유를 공유하는 뜻깊은 자리다.

전북인물작가회 김정아 회장은 “두 지역 작가들이 예술을 향한 열정과 사람을 향한 마음으로 만나 교감하는 자리가 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다. 울산인물작가회 박재용 대표는 “이번 전시가 영호남 인물작가회의 상생과 교류를 넓히는 출발점이 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

The Jeonbuk Portrait Artists Association will hold a planned exhibition titled 'Humans and Nature: Portraits of Coexistence' at the Wujin Cultural Space Gallery on the first floor from October 30 to November 5. This exhibition, the first collaborative exchange exhibition between the Jeonbuk Portrait Artists Association and the Ulsan Portrait Artists Association, is expected to be a meaningful occasion where artists from both regions come together as one through art.

A total of 31 artists, including 16 from the Jeonbuk Portrait Artists Association and 15 from the Ulsan Portrait Artists Association, will participate, showcasing various flat paintings such as Western and Korean paintings. This exhibition, themed 'Coexistence of Humans and Nature,' aims to explore the relationship between humans and nature by capturing the perspectives and emotions of each artist, and to expand the meaning of artistic exchange between regions.

Since its establishment in 2000, the Jeonbuk Portrait Artists Association has been dedicated to researching and organizing exhibitions on portrait paintings, making efforts to make the genre of portrait painting more familiar. This exchange exhibition is a significant occasion where two organizations that have nurtured seeds of artistic creation in different regions come together to share artistic passion and reflections on humanity through 'Portraits of Coexistence between Humans and Nature.'

Kim Jung-ah, the president of the Jeonbuk Portrait Artists Association, expressed hope that the meeting of artists from the two regions with passion for art and compassion for people will be a place for mutual communication. Park Jae-yong, the representative of the Ulsan Portrait Artists Association, conveyed his expectation that this exhibition will be a starting point for expanding cooperation and exchanges among portrait artists in the Yeonghonam region.
