-자연, 한옥과 어우러진 한복의 아름다움과 멋을 영상과 화보로 담아내

전주교육대학교(박병춘 총장)는 지난 29일 완주 복합문화공간 ‘아원고택’에서 예비교사 28명과 군산부설초등학교 초등학생 12명이 모델로 참여하는 한복 패션쇼 영상 및 화보 촬영을 진행하였다.

이번 행사는 전주교육대학교 국립대학 육성사업의 전통문화이음교육의 한복문화체험교육의 일환으로 진행되고 있으며, 촬영은 올해로 4회째 진행하였다.

사업 책임자인 최경은 교수는 “한류열풍으로 K-culture에 대한 국내외적 관심이 매우 고조 되고 있으며, 특히 한복의 경우 전주한복마을을 중심으로 한복문화체험과 관광을 연계하여 전국적으로 확산시켰다는 점에서 우리 지역의 대표적인 전통문화 콘텐츠다. 이제 한복은 단순한 복식이 아니라 우리 민족의 정신과 미의식을 담아낸 유산으로서 일상 속에서 즐기고 향유할 수 있는 문화유산으로 전통을 새롭게 이어가야 할 자산이 되었다. 한복에 대한 올바른 이해와 긍정적 인식을 바탕으로 한복문화의 확산, 정착 그리고 지역사회 기여에 이바지할 수 있도록 역할 과 책무를 다하겠다”고 하였다.

촬영에 참여한 권도운(실과교육과 3학년) 학생은 “형형색색의 한복을 입고 전통 한옥과 자연이 어우러진 공간에서 촬영하니 마치 조선시대로 시간여행을 다녀온 듯했습니다. 우리 조상들의 미의식과 지혜를 느낄 수 있었고, 전통과 한복 교육에 더 많은 관심을 갖게 되었습니다”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

전윤태(군산부설초등학교 6학년)은 “지난 어린이날에 이어 2번째 참여하게 되었는데, 멋지고 예쁜 전통한복을 친구들과 즐겁고 특별한 시간이었습니다. 우리 한복이 자랑스럽고 앞으로 한복 입을 기회가 더 많았으면 좋겠습니다”고 말하였다.

박병춘 총장은 “한복문화의 올바른 계승은 교육에서 시작됩니다. 한복이음교육은 단순한 체험을 넘어, 전통문화에 대한 인식 전환과 교육적 실천의 장이 되었다는 점에서 매우 의미 깊다고 생각하고 지속적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠습니다. 약속하고, 촬영 일정을 허락해주신 아원고택 관계자에게도 감사드립니다”고 전하였다.

한편, 이번 촬영을 통해 제작된 화보와 영상은 향후 교육자료로 활용될 예정이며, 전주교대 도담교육봉사동아리가 주관하는 ‘몽키즈 캠프’(임실대리초 주최), 지역 어르신 초청 한복문화체험 등 지역사회 연계 프로그램으로 이어질 예정이다. 성과를 공유하는 전시 및 발표회도 계획 중이다.

-Capturing the beauty and elegance of hanbok harmonized with nature and hanok in visuals and pictorials

On the 29th, Jeonju National University of Education (President Park Byung-chun) conducted a hanbok fashion show video and photoshoot at the Wanju complex cultural space 'Awon Gotak' with 28 prospective teachers and 12 elementary school students from Gunsan branch elementary school participating as models.

This event is part of the traditional culture education program of the national university fostering project at Jeonju National University of Education, focusing on hanbok cultural experience education, and this year's shoot marks the fourth edition.

Choi Kyung-eun, the project manager and professor, stated, "With the Hallyu wave, domestic and international interest in K-culture has been significantly increasing, and especially in the case of hanbok, it has become a representative traditional cultural content of our region by linking hanbok cultural experiences and tourism centered around Jeonju Hanbok Village and spreading it nationwide. Hanbok has now become an asset that should carry on tradition anew as a cultural heritage that embodies the spirit and aesthetics of our people, allowing us to enjoy and appreciate it in our daily lives. We will fulfill our role and responsibility to contribute to the spread, establishment, and local community engagement of hanbok culture based on a correct understanding and positive perception of hanbok."

Kwon Do-woon, a student majoring in practical arts education in his third year, shared his impression, saying, "Wearing hanbok of various colors and shooting in a space where traditional hanok and nature are harmonized made me feel like I had traveled back to the Joseon Dynasty. I was able to feel the aesthetics and wisdom of our ancestors and gained more interest in tradition and hanbok education."

Jeon Yun-tae, a sixth-grader from Gunsan branch elementary school, said, "It was a wonderful and special time enjoying the beautiful traditional hanbok with my friends for the second time since Children's Day. I am proud of our hanbok, and I hope to have more opportunities to wear hanbok in the future."

President Park Byung-chun expressed, "The proper succession of hanbok culture starts with education. Hanbok education has become a significant platform for shifting perceptions towards traditional culture and educational practices beyond mere experiences. I believe it is very meaningful, and I will spare no effort in providing continuous support. I promise and extend my gratitude to the officials of Awon Gotak for allowing the shooting schedule."

The photos and videos produced through this shoot will be utilized as educational materials in the future and will be followed by community programs such as 'Monkids Camp' organized by Jeonju National University of Education's Dodam Education Volunteer Club (hosted by Imsil Daeri Elementary School) and local senior citizen-invited hanbok cultural experiences. Plans for an exhibition and presentation event to share the outcomes are also in progress.
