전북특별자치도립국악원(원장 유영대) 관현악단(예술감독 이용탁)은 오는 29일 오후 3시 부안예술회관에서 관현악단 순회공연 국악콘서트 락(樂) 공연을 펼친다.

이번 공연은 한국적 정서와 현대적 감각이 어우러진 레퍼토리로 구성하여 국악의 친근함과 새로운 재미를 동시에 느낄 수 있도록 기획되었다.

관현악단은 해금·양금·마두금등 다양한 장르의 협연자들과 부안의 자랑 김태연 트로트 가수와 함께 풍성한 무대를 완성한다.

또 특별히 이번 공연의 지휘는 대전연정국악원 예술감독 겸 지휘자인 임상규 지휘자가 객원지휘로 참여해 풍부한 음악적 해석과 균형감을 더했다.

첫 무대는 진도아리랑과 밀양아리랑을 모티브로 한 남도의 정서를 담은 국악관현악‘남도아리랑’(작곡/백대웅)으로, 풍부한 관현악 선율 안에 남도 특유의 멋과 감성을 깊이 있게 펼쳐낸다.

두 번째 곡은 조진용 수석단원의 해금 협주곡‘추상’(작곡/이경섭)이다.
감정과 분위기, 그리고 마음의 움직임을 소리로 표현한 해금 협주곡으로, 해금의 맑고 깊은 선율 위로 관현악의 다양한 음색이 어우러지며, 때로는 고요하게, 때로는 역동적으로 변화하는 음악의 흐름 속에서 청중은 형체 없는 감정의 풍경을 마주하게 된다. 해금의 섬세한 표현력과 현대적 감각이 조화를 이루며, 우리 안의 감성을 담백하고도 아름답게 그려낸 것이 특징이다.

다음은 동요메들리(작곡/이용탁)이다. 우리에게 친숙한 동요에 전통 장단과 국악기의 음색을 더해 재탄생시킨 작품으로, 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 신선한 편곡이 돋보인다.

네 번째는 양금·마두금 협주곡‘바람의 노래’(작곡 홍정의)가 펼쳐진다. 몽골 민요 선율을 바탕으로 창작된 곡으로, 양금과 마두금의 이색적인 만남이 특징이다. 초원과 바람과 자유로움을 표현하며, 국경과 인종을 넘어선 음악적 교류를 보여준다. 협연으로는 양금에 윤은화 세계양금협회 이사가, 마두금은 부레브쿠 뭉크진 몽골 국립문화예술대 교수가 무대에 선다.

마지막은 가수 김태연이 출연해 폭넓은 감성과 탄탄한 가창력으로 국악 창작곡 무대를 선사하며, 전 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 감동의 피날레 무대로 구성했다.

먼저 하늘의 별이 되신 스승님을 기리는 헌정곡 가시별과, 님을 향한 애절한 그리움을 비유한 만리향을 노래한다.

또 특별히 이번 공연을 위해 김태연의 신곡 카네이션의 노래를 국악관현악으로 편곡해 선보인다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province National Gugak Center (Director Yoo Young-dae) Orchestra (Artistic Director Lee Yong-tak) will hold a touring performance of a traditional Korean music concert titled "Rock" at the Buan Arts Center on the 29th at 3 p.m.

This performance is planned to combine traditional Korean sentiments with modern sensibilities in its repertoire, providing both the familiarity and new excitement of Korean music.

The orchestra will collaborate with various instrumentalists of different genres such as the haegeum, yanggeum, and madu, along with Buan's pride, trot singer Kim Tae-yeon, to create a rich stage.

Notably, this performance will be conducted by guest conductor Im Sang-gyu, the Artistic Director and conductor of the Daejeon Yeonjeong Gugak Center, adding rich musical interpretations and balance.

The first piece will be "Namdo Arirang," a Gugak orchestral piece that encapsulates the emotions of the southern region using motifs from Jindo Arirang and Miryang Arirang, composed by Baek Dae-woong, showcasing the beauty and emotions of the southern region within the rich orchestral melodies.

The second piece is the haegeum concerto "Chusang" composed by Lee Kyung-seop, expressing emotions, moods, and inner movements through sound. The delicate expressiveness of the haegeum, combined with the diverse tones of the orchestra, presents the audience with a flow of music that changes from serene to dynamic, allowing them to encounter landscapes of intangible emotions. The delicate expression and modern sensibility of the haegeum harmonize, portraying our emotions in a simple yet beautiful manner.

Next is a medley of children's songs composed by Lee Yong-tak. This piece reinterprets familiar children's songs by adding traditional rhythms and the tones of traditional Korean instruments, offering a fresh arrangement that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

The fourth piece is the yanggeum and madu concerto "Song of the Wind" composed by Hong Jung-ui, based on Mongolian folk melodies. This piece showcases a unique encounter between the yanggeum and madu, expressing the prairies, wind, and freedom, demonstrating musical exchanges beyond borders and races. Yoon Eun-hwa, a director of the World Yanggeum Association, will perform on the yanggeum, while a professor from the Mongolian National University of Culture and Arts, Burevku Mungjin, will perform on the madu.

Lastly, singer Kim Tae-yeon will present a stage of Korean traditional creation songs with broad emotions and strong vocal skills, creating a finale stage of moving performances that can be enjoyed by all generations.

The performance will also include a tribute song "Thorn Star" honoring the late master, and a rendition of "Manrihyang," symbolizing the deep longing for the master. Additionally, a special arrangement of Kim Tae-yeon's new song "Carnation" will be presented in a Gugak orchestral style for this performance.
