전북현대의 대표이사가 새롭게 선임됐다.

전북현대는 15일 현대자동차 김승찬 국내사업본부장이 신임 대표이사에 선임돼 겸직 체제로 구단을 총괄한다고 밝혔다.

김승찬 신임 대표이사는 1993년 현대자동차에 입사해 국내판촉팀장을 비롯해 강원과 대구경북지역본부장 등을 역임했다.

이후 국내판매사업부장을 거쳐 2025년 국내사업본부장을 맡게 됐다.

신임 대표이사는 30여 년간 국내 영업 및 사업전략 분야 전반을 두루 거치며 풍부한 현장 경험과 경영 역량을 축적한 인물로 손꼽힌다.

전북현대는 신임 대표이사가 프런트와 선수단의 협력 체계를 강화해 구단 운영 전반의 내실을 공고히 하고 팬과 지역사회로부터 더욱 신뢰받는 구단으로 도약하는 데 힘쓸 것이라고 전했다.

김승찬 신임 대표이사는 “경영 노하우와 조직 운영 경험을 바탕으로 구단이 지속적인 성장을 할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”며 “팬들의 성원으로 2025시즌 좋은 결과를 얻은 만큼 팬들과 함께하는 구단이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.

A new CEO has been appointed for Jeonbuk Hyundai.

Jeonbuk Hyundai announced on the 15th that Kim Seung-chan, the domestic business director of Hyundai Motor, has been appointed as the new CEO in a dual role to oversee the club.

Kim Seung-chan, the new CEO, joined Hyundai Motor in 1993 and has served as the domestic promotion team leader, as well as the Gangwon and Daegu-Gyeongbuk regional directors.

He later became the domestic sales business director and in 2025, was appointed as the domestic business director.

The new CEO is highly regarded as someone who has accumulated rich on-site experience and management capabilities by going through various aspects of domestic sales and business strategy over the past 30 years.

Jeonbuk Hyundai stated that the new CEO will work hard to strengthen the cooperation system between the front office and the players, solidify the overall management of the club, and leap forward to become a more trusted club by fans and the local community.

Kim Seung-chan, the new CEO, expressed his thoughts by saying, "Based on my management know-how and organizational operation experience, I will support the club in achieving continuous growth. I will do my best to become a club that is with the fans, as we have achieved good results in the 2025 season thanks to the support of the fans."
