전북특별자치도가 한국산림복지진흥원이 실시한 ‘녹색인프라 사후관리 모니터링 평가’에서 ‘나눔숲·나눔길 통합관리 부문’ 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 16일 밝혔다. 완주군과 부안군의 조성지 3곳도 우수·장려 평가를 받으며, 전북은 이번 평가에서 총 4건의 수상 성과를 거뒀다.

이번 평가는 2020년부터 2024년까지 녹색자금으로 조성된 나눔숲과 무장애나눔길을 대상으로 운영·관리 수준을 종합 점검한 것이다. 전북자치도는 광역 차원의 체계적인 사후관리 역량을 인정받아, 산림자원과가 ‘나눔숲·나눔길 통합관리 부문’최우수상을 수상했다.

시·군 단위 평가에서는 완주군청 산림녹지과가 ‘이산모자원 나눔숲’, 부안군청 산림자원과가 ‘서림공원 무장애나눔길’로 각각 우수상을 받았다. 조성 대상지 평가에서는 완주군 이산모자원이 장려상을 수상해, 현장 관리 성과 역시 함께 인정받았다.

무장애나눔길은 교통약자와 취약계층이 불편 없이 숲을 이용할 수 있도록 생활환경을 개선하는 녹색복지 사업으로, 사회적 약자를 위한 접근성 강화에 중점을 두고 있다.

한편 전북도는 2026년 녹색자금 공모사업에서 26억 4,400만 원을 확보해 전주 ‘신성양로원 나눔숲’, 익산 ‘치유의숲 무장애나눔길’, 순창 ‘대동산 무장애나눔길’ 등 3개 지구 신규 조성사업을 추진한다. 이를 통해 취약계층 생활환경 개선과 보행약자 접근성 향상에 기여하는 녹색복지 기반이 더욱 확대될 전망이다.

On the 16th, Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province announced that it was selected as the top institution in the 'Sharing Forest and Sharing Path Integrated Management Division' in the 'Green Infrastructure Post-Monitoring Evaluation' conducted by the Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute. Three creation sites in Wanju County and Buan County also received excellent and encouragement evaluations, resulting in a total of four award-winning achievements in this evaluation for Jeollabuk Province.

This evaluation comprehensively checked the operation and management levels of the Sharing Forest and Barrier-Free Sharing Paths created with green funds from 2020 to 2024. Recognized for its systematic post-management capabilities at the metropolitan level, Jeollabuk Province was awarded the top prize in the 'Sharing Forest and Sharing Path Integrated Management Division' for its forest resources.

In the evaluations at the city and county levels, the Wanju County Office's Forest Greening Department received an excellent award for the 'Isanmo Resource Sharing Forest', and the Buan County Office's Forest Resources Department received an excellent award for the 'Seorim Park Barrier-Free Sharing Path'. In the evaluation of the creation target sites, Wanju County's Isanmo Resource received an encouragement award, acknowledging its on-site management achievements.

The Barrier-Free Sharing Path is a green welfare project that improves the living environment so that transportation-disadvantaged and vulnerable groups can use the forest without inconvenience, focusing on enhancing accessibility for social minorities.

Meanwhile, Jeollabuk Province secured 2.644 billion won in the 2026 green fund public offering project to promote three new creation projects in Jeonju, Iksan, and Sunchang: 'Shinseong Nursing Home Sharing Forest', 'Healing Forest Barrier-Free Sharing Path', and 'Daedongsan Barrier-Free Sharing Path'. Through this, the foundation of green welfare contributing to improving the living environment for vulnerable groups and enhancing accessibility for pedestrians is expected to expand further.
