전주교육대학교군산부설초등학교(교장 서선영)는 12월 24일 성탄절을 하루 앞두고 학교 공동체가 함께하는 ‘성탄맞이 사랑 나눔 행사’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

행사는 아침 등굣길에 교장·교감이 성탄 인사와 함께 간식을 나누는 이벤트로 시작해 교실에서 이어졌다. 교육발전회와 교육협의회는 학생들을 위해 과자 꾸러미와 초록 목도리, 6학년을 위한 장우산 등 성탄 선물을 준비해 각 교실을 직접 찾아 전달했다. 학생들은 예상치 못한 선물에 환한 미소로 화답하며 교실마다 연말 분위기를 더했다.

학교 측은 이번 행사가 단순한 선물 전달을 넘어 학교·학부모·학생이 마음을 나누는 교육공동체의 의미를 되새기는 시간이 됐다고 설명했다.

서선영 교장은 “학생들이 부모님의 따뜻한 관심과 응원을 느끼는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “정성을 다해 선물을 준비하고 전달해 준 교육발전회와 교육협의회 학부모들에게 감사한다”고 말했다.

Jeonju National University of Education's Gunsan Elementary School (Principal Seo Seon-young) announced that they held a 'Christmas Love Sharing Event' where the school community came together to welcome Christmas Eve on December 24.

The event started with the principal and vice principal sharing snacks along the morning commute, along with Christmas greetings. It continued in the classrooms where the Education Development Association and the Education Consultative Council prepared snack packages, green scarves, umbrellas for the 6th graders, and other Christmas gifts for the students, which they personally delivered to each classroom. The students responded with bright smiles to the unexpected gifts, adding to the year-end atmosphere in each classroom.

The school explained that this event served as a reminder of the meaning of an educational community where the school, parents, and students share their hearts, going beyond simple gift-giving.

Principal Seo Seon-young expressed her hope that this event would be an opportunity for students to feel the warm care and support of their parents, saying, "I hope this becomes an occasion for students to feel their parents' warm care and support," and thanked the Education Development Association, the Education Consultative Council, and the parents for their efforts in preparing and delivering the gifts.
