남원시 평생학습관이 관내 평생교육 강사의 전문성 향상과 교육 현장 역량 강화를 위해 추진한 ‘평생교육 강사 역량강화 교육’을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 평생교육 현장에서 활동 중인 강사를 대상으로 강의 기술 전달에 그치지 않고 학습자 이해, 강의 구성력, 현장 소통 능력 등 실질적인 역량 강화에 초점을 맞춰 운영됐다. 특히 실제 강의 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있도록 사례 중심으로 구성해 참여 강사들의 만족도를 높였다는 평가다.

교육 과정은 ▲강사의 역할 재정립 ▲효과적인 강의 설계 ▲학습자 참여를 이끄는 소통 방법 등으로 구성됐으며, 강사 스스로 강의 방식과 교육 철학을 점검하는 계기를 제공했다.

참여 강사들은 “현장에서의 고민을 정리하고 방향성을 다시 생각해보는 시간이었다”고 소감을 전했다. 평생학습관 관계자는 “평생교육의 질은 강사의 역량에서 시작된다”며 “지속적인 역량강화 교육을 통해 시민에게 더 나은 평생학습 환경을 제공하겠다”고 말했다.

남원시 평생학습관은 교육 결과와 만족도 조사 내용을 바탕으로 강사 맞춤형 심화 과정과 단계별 프로그램을 확대 검토할 계획이다.

Namwon City Lifelong Learning Center announced that they have successfully concluded the "Enhancement of Lifelong Education Instructor Competency" program aimed at improving the professionalism of lifelong education instructors within the region and enhancing their capabilities in the education field.

This program, targeted at instructors actively engaged in lifelong education, focused not only on delivering lectures on teaching techniques but also on enhancing practical competencies such as understanding learners, lecture structuring, and on-site communication skills. It was evaluated that the program, structured around case studies that could be directly applied in actual teaching situations, increased the satisfaction of participating instructors.

The education process was structured around roles redefinition of instructors, effective lecture planning, communication methods that engage learners, providing instructors with an opportunity to reflect on their teaching methods and educational philosophies.

Participating instructors expressed that it was a time to organize their concerns in the field and rethink their direction. An official from the Lifelong Learning Center stated, "The quality of lifelong education begins with the competency of the instructors," and mentioned, "Through continuous competency enhancement education, we will provide citizens with a better lifelong learning environment."

Based on the results of the education and satisfaction surveys, Namwon City Lifelong Learning Center plans to expand tailored advanced courses and step-by-step programs for instructors.
