무궁화복지월드 정읍봉사단(권장 김재학)이 정읍시장애인복지관을 찾아 후원금 250만원을 전달하며 지역 장애인 지원에 힘을 보탰다.

봉사단은 지난 23일 복지관을 방문해 후원금을 기탁했으며, 기부금은 경제적 어려움을 겪는 저소득 장애인 지원과 복지관 이용자들의 복지 증진을 위한 각종 사업·프로그램 운영에 사용될 예정이다.

김재학 권장은 “회원들이 한마음으로 모은 정성이 장애인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “일회성이 아닌 지속적인 나눔과 봉사를 이어가겠다”고 말했다. 복지관 관계자도 “오랜 기간 변함없는 관심과 후원에 감사드린다”며 “기탁금은 뜻에 맞게 투명하고 가치 있게 사용하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 무궁화복지월드 정읍문화회관을 중심으로 활동하는 정읍봉사단은 약 1,000세대 회원이 참여하는 봉사단체로, 2010년 복지관과 인연을 맺은 뒤 14년째 후원을 이어오며 지역사회 나눔 활동을 펼치고 있다.

The Mugunghwa Welfare World Jeongeup Volunteer Group (endorsed by Kim Jae-hak) visited the Jeongeup Disability Welfare Center and donated 2.5 million won to support local disabled individuals.

The volunteer group visited the welfare center on the 23rd to donate the funds, which will be used for various projects and programs to support low-income disabled individuals facing economic difficulties and to enhance the welfare of welfare center users.

Endorser Kim Jae-hak expressed his hope that the sincere efforts of the members would provide practical assistance to disabled individuals, stating, "We will continue to engage in ongoing sharing and volunteer activities." Welfare center officials also expressed their gratitude for the long-standing interest and support, stating, "We will transparently and effectively utilize the donated funds according to their intended purpose."

The Jeongeup Volunteer Group, centered around the Mugunghwa Welfare World Jeongeup Cultural Center, is a volunteer organization with approximately 1,000 member households. Since establishing a connection with the welfare center in 2010, they have been providing support for 14 years, engaging in community sharing activities in the local area.
