전북현대모터스FC(단장 이도현, 이하 전북현대)가 신인 선수 12명을 영입하며 미래 경쟁력 강화에 나섰다.
전북현대의 유스 시스템인 ‘전북현대U18전주영생고(교장 이장훈)’ 출신들을 주축으로, 대학 무대와 고교 축구에서 두각을 나타낸 최고의 유망주들로 구성되었다.
전북현대는 2025시즌 준프로 신분으로 가능성을 보여준 이한결(GK), 한석진(RFW), 김수형(CB)과 정식 프로 계약을 체결했다.
이들은 이미 성인 팀 무대를 경험한 만큼 팀 적응에 속도를 낼 전망이다.
동갑내기 유스 출신 박현민(MF)도 잠재력을 인정받아 프로 계약을 체결했으며 우선지명계약으로는 전주대학교 문준혁(MF)도 이번 시즌을 앞두고 프로에 합류했다.
대학 축구의 강자로 군림한 3명의 선수도 전북현대에 둥지를 틀었다.
곽희벽(RB, 단국대), 정대영(GK, 경민대), 우현수(DM, 광운대)는 대학 시절 팀의 핵심으로 활약하며 즉시 전력감에 준하는 기량을 갖췄다는 평가다.
고교 무대에서 최고의 유망주로 손꼽히는 4명도 합류했다.
고교 축구의 신흥 강호 진위FC 출신의 김주형(CB)과 이건희(CM)를 비롯해, 신태인FC의 공격수 김두현(FW), 전통의 명문 부평고의 안태훈(LWF)이 전북현대 N팀의 공격과 수비에 젊은 에너지를 불어넣을 예정이다.
이번에 영입된 12명의 신인선수는 전북현대 N팀에 소속되어 K3리그 등을 통해 실전 경험을 쌓게 된다.
전북현대는 N팀 시스템을 통해 신인선수들이 성인 무대에 연착륙할 수 있도록 돕고, A팀으로 승격할 수 있는 발판을 마련할 계획이다.

한편, 영입 절차를 모두 마친 선수들은 구단 공식 훈련에 합류해 13일 인도네시아 발리로 동계전지훈련을 떠난다.

Jeonbuk Hyundai has signed professional contracts with Lee Hangyeol (GK), Han Seokjin (RFW), Kim Suhyeong (CB), who have shown potential as semi-professionals in the 2025 season.
As they have already experienced playing on the adult team, it is expected that they will quickly adapt to the team.
Park Hyeonmin (MF), a young player from the same age group as the youth team, has also signed a professional contract after being recognized for his potential. Additionally, Moon Junhyeok (MF) from Jeonju University has joined the pros ahead of this season with a priority selection contract.
Three players who dominated university football have also settled in Jeonbuk Hyundai. Kwak Heebyeok (RB, Dankook University), Jung Daeyeong (GK, Kyungmin University), and Woo Hyunsoo (DM, Kwangwoon University) have been evaluated as possessing skills that immediately contribute to the team's strength.
Four promising players from the high school football scene have also joined. Kim Juhyeong (CB) and Lee Geonhye (CM) from the emerging powerhouse Jinwi FC, Kim Duhyeon (FW) from Shintaein FC, and Ahn Taehoon (LWF) from the prestigious Bupyeong High School will inject youthful energy into Jeonbuk Hyundai N Team's offense and defense.
The 12 rookie players recently recruited will be part of Jeonbuk Hyundai N Team and gain practical experience through the K3 League and other competitions.
Jeonbuk Hyundai plans to help rookie players land on the adult stage through the N Team system and provide a platform for promotion to the A Team.
Jeonbuk Hyundai stated, "The harmony between youth players who understand the club's philosophy well and external talents has made the team's future even brighter," and asked fans to support the new key players of Jeonbuk.
Meanwhile, the players who have completed the recruitment process will join the official team training and depart for winter training in Bali, Indonesia on the 13th.
