<2025년 국회문화극장 <겨울의 빛> 무비토크 사진>

전주국제영화제(공동집행위원장 민성욱·정준호)가 국회문화극장 프로그램을 3년 연속 이어간다고 5일 밝혔다.

국회문화극장은 문화를 매개로 국민과의 소통을 도모하기 위해 국회사무처가 주최하는 문화 행사로, 국민의 문화 향유권 증진을 위해 매월 셋째 주 목요일마다 영화와 공연 등 다양한 문화프로그램을 무료로 선보이고 있다.

전주국제영화제는 2024년을 시작으로 국회문화극장과 3년째 협력을 이어오고 있으며, 문화적 상호협력체계를 바탕으로 국회문화극장 콘텐츠의 다양화와 독립·예술영화의 저변 확대를 목표로 추진해 왔다. 전주국제영화제 수상작과 상영작을 중심으로 구성하고, 감독과 배우를 초청한 무비토크 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 국회문화극장을 풍성하게 선보여왔다.

지금까지 국회문화극장에서 선보인 전주국제영화제 상영작으로는 2024년 2월 <비밀의 언덕>을 시작으로 <윤시내가 사라졌다>, <안녕하세요>, <결혼, 하겠나>, <담요를 입은 사람> 등 다양한 작품을 상영했으며, 2025년 <룸 쉐어링>, <겨울의 빛>, <만남의 집> 등을 통해 꾸준히 관객과의 만남을 이어왔다.

전주국제영화제는 2월을 시작으로 하반기까지 국민들과 만나는 시간을 이어갈 예정이다. 올해 첫 상영작은 제26회 전주국제영화제 코리안시네마 섹션 상영작 <직사각형, 삼각형>과 특별상영 섹션의 <병훈의 하루>다. 두 작품은 2월 19일(목) 19시에 국회의원회관 대회의실에서 상영되며, 상영에 앞서 두 작품의 연출을 맡은 이희준 감독과의 무비토크가 마련돼 관객과 직접 소통하는 시간을 가질 예정이다. 예매는 2월 5일(목)부터 대한민국 국회 통합예약 사이트(https://reservation.assembly.go.kr/)에서 진행된다.

한편, 제27회 전주국제영화제는 오는 4월 29일(수)부터 5월 8일(금)까지 10일간 영화의 거리 및 전주시 일대에서 개최된다.

The Jeonju International Film Festival (Co-executive directors Min Sung-wook and Jung Joon-ho) announced on the 5th that they will continue the National Assembly Cultural Theater program for the third consecutive year.

The National Assembly Cultural Theater, sponsored by the National Assembly Secretariat, is a cultural event aimed at promoting communication with the people through culture. To enhance the people's right to enjoy culture, various cultural programs such as movies and performances are presented for free every third Thursday of the month.

Starting in 2024, the Jeonju International Film Festival has been collaborating with the National Assembly Cultural Theater for the third year, aiming to diversify the content of the theater and expand the reach of independent and art films based on a cultural mutual cooperation system. They have showcased the National Assembly Cultural Theater with various programs such as movie talks featuring directors and actors, focusing on award-winning and screened works from the Jeonju International Film Festival.

Among the Jeonju International Film Festival works showcased at the National Assembly Cultural Theater so far are various films such as "The Secret of the Hill" in February 2024, followed by "Goodbye, Hello," "Will You Marry Me," and "The Person Wearing a Blanket." In 2025, films like "Room Sharing," "Winter Light," and "House of Encounter" have been consistently presented to meet with the audience.

The Jeonju International Film Festival will continue to meet with the public from February to the second half of the year. The first screening this year will be the Korean Cinema Section film "Rectangle, Triangle" from the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival and the special screening section film "Byunghoon's Day." These two films will be screened at the National Assembly Members' Hall on February 19th (Thursday) at 7 p.m., followed by a movie talk with director Lee Hee-joon before the screening, providing an opportunity for direct communication with the audience. Reservations can be made starting from February 5th (Thursday) on the Republic of Korea National Assembly Integrated Reservation Site (https://reservation.assembly.go.kr/).

Meanwhile, the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival will be held for 10 days from April 29th (Wednesday) to May 8th (Friday) on the streets of film and in the Jeonju area.
