【전북장애인뉴스】전북특별자치도장애인체육회가 제64회 스포츠 주간을 기념하여 도내 장애인 체육 단체 간의 벽을 허물고 협력을 강화하기 위한 특별한 소통의 장을 마련했다.
전북특별자치도장애인체육회는 29일 오후 3시 전주어울림국민체육센터에서 전북도장애인럭비협회(회장 김현륜)와 함께 ‘친선 교류 행사’를 개최했다. 이번 행사에는 조형철 사무처장을 비롯한 장애인체육회 임직원, 장애인럭비협회 선수단, (사)장애인인권연대 관계자 등 80여 명이 참석해 뜨거운 열기 속에 진행됐다.
이번 행사는 장애인 체육 현장에 대한 실질적인 이해를 돕기 위해 기획됐다. 참석자들은 휠체어 럭비 종목에 대한 상세한 설명을 듣고, 임직원들이 직접 경기용 휠체어에 올라 선수들과 함께 코트를 누비며 종목의 특성과 어려움을 몸소 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
