【전북장애인뉴스】전주시 주거복지센터(센터장 오은주)와 우정회 집수리봉사단(단장 김용안)은 10일 완산구 동서학동의 한 장애인 가구를 찾아 주거환경 개선 봉사활동과 마을 노인들을 위한 국수 나눔 행사를 진행했다.
이날 전주지역의 자영업자 모임 봉사단체인 ‘우정회 집수리봉사단’은 주말을 반납한 채 주거복지 사각지대 이웃을 위한 16번째 ‘드림하우스’를 완공했다.
이날 봉사활동에는 우정회 회원과 가족, 주거복지센터 직원 등 30여 명이 참여해, 노후화된 주택에서 어렵게 생활하는 장애인 남매 가구를 위해 △옥상 방수 △단열 창호 설치 △싱크대 교체 △도배와 장판 시공 등 집 안팎을 꼼꼼히 살피며 쾌적한 보금자리를 마련했다.
이번 지원 대상은 전주시 주거복지센터를 통해서 알게 된 기초생활보장 수급자이자 등록 장애인 가구로, 지난해 모친상 이후 여동생이 장애가 있는 오빠를 돌보며 거주하고 있는 중년 남매 가구다.
