전주시가 시민 주권과 열린 행정을 구현하기 위해 간부회의에 이어 출연기관 회의까지 전과정을 시민들에게 투명하게 공개한다.

시는 16일 오후 4시 시청 본관 8층 재난상황실에서 조지훈 전주시장과 전주시시설관리공단 경영본부장, 8개 전주시 출연기관의 장 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘전주시 출연기관 및 공공기관장 9월 월례회의(업무보고)’​를 개최했다.

이번 회의는 시민과 최일선에서 만나고 있는 공공기관의 주요 업무와 현안을 공유하고 기관 간 협력 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련된 자리로, 전주정보문화산업진흥원과 전주농생명소재연구원, 전주문화재단, 전주관광재단, 전주푸드통합지원센터, 전주인재육성재단, 전주시복지재단전주사람, 전주시정연구원 등 8개 출연기관과 전주시시설관리공단 등 9개 공공기관이 참여했다.

특히 이날 회의는 시민의 알 권리를 보장하고, 보다 투명한 시정을 만들어가기 위해 회의 전 과정이 생중계됐다.

이 자리에서 조지훈 전주시장은 지난 8월 업무보고에 따른 후속 조치 이행 사항을 점검하고, 각 기관별 주요 사업 추진 상황과 현안을 청취했다. 또, 기관별 현안에 대해 출연기관장과 전주시 소관 실·국장이 함께 논의하며 실질적인 협력 방안을 모색했다.

시는 앞으로도 출연기관 및 전주시설공단과 지속적인 소통과 협력을 통해 기관별 전문성을 시정에 적극 활용하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 성과와 서비스를 만들어 나갈 계획이다.

이와 관련 현재 전주시시설관리공단과 8개 출연기관 등 9개 전주시 공공기관에는 약 720명이 근무하고 있으며, 올해 총 851억 원 규모의 예산이 편성돼 시민 생활과 밀접한 다양한 사업과 서비스를 수행하고 있다.

조지훈 전주시장은 이날 회의에서 “오늘 회의는 시민과 최일선에서 만나고 있는 전주시시설관리공단과 8개 출연기관의 주요 업무와 현안을 시민 여러분과 함께 공유하고, 시민의 알 권리를 보장해 보다 투명한 시정을 만들어가기 위해 생중계로 진행하게 됐다”면서 “기관 간 칸막이를 넘어 적극적으로 소통하고 협력하며, 전주시와 출연기관, 전주시설공단이 한 팀이라는 마음으로 시민이 체감하는 변화를 함께 만들어 가자”고 강조했다.

Jeonju City will transparently disclose the entire process to the public, from executive meetings to meetings with participating organizations, in order to realize citizen sovereignty and open administration.

On the 16th at 4 p.m., a monthly meeting for September titled 'Jeonju City Participating Organizations and Public Institutions Director Meeting (Business Report)' was held at the Disaster Situation Room on the 8th floor of the City Hall main building, with former Mayor Jo Ji-hoon of Jeonju City, the Managing Director of Jeonju City Facilities Management Corporation, and heads of 8 participating organizations in Jeonju City in attendance.

This meeting was arranged to share the main tasks and current issues of public institutions meeting citizens and frontline workers, and to discuss cooperation among organizations. Eight participating organizations including Jeonju Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency, Jeonju Agricultural and Life Science Research Institute, Jeonju Cultural Foundation, Jeonju Tourism Foundation, Jeonju Food Integrated Support Center, Jeonju Human Resources Development Foundation, Jeonju Welfare Foundation Jeonju People, Jeonju City Research Institute, and Jeonju City Facilities Management Corporation, a total of 9 public institutions, participated.

Especially on this day, the entire process of the meeting was broadcast live to ensure citizens' right to know and to create a more transparent administration.

During the meeting, former Mayor Jo Ji-hoon checked the follow-up measures based on the August business report, listened to the progress and issues of major projects by each organization, and discussed practical cooperation measures with the heads of participating organizations and relevant department heads of Jeonju City regarding current issues.

In the future, the city plans to actively utilize the expertise of each organization in administration through continuous communication and cooperation with participating organizations and Jeonju City Facilities Management Corporation, and to create tangible results and services that citizens can feel.

Currently, approximately 720 people are employed in Jeonju City Facilities Management Corporation and 8 participating organizations, totaling 9 public institutions in Jeonju City, with a budget of 85.1 billion won allocated this year to carry out various projects and services closely related to citizens' lives.
