한국교육과정평가원(원장 오승걸)은 오는 6월 3일(화) 시행되는 2026학년도 대학수학능력시험 6월 모의평가 시행계획을 3월 25일 발표했다.

이번 모의평가는 수험생에게 학업 능력을 진단하고 보완할 기회를 제공함과 동시에, 2026학년도 수능 응시 예정자의 학력 수준을 파악해 적정 난이도를 유지하기 위한 목적이다. 평가원은 사교육에서 반복적으로 훈련한 학생에게 유리한 문제 유형을 배제하고, 학교 교육과 EBS 연계 교재 및 강의로 대비할 수 있는 수준의 문항을 출제할 방침이다.

시험은 국어, 수학, 영어, 한국사, 탐구(사회･과학･직업), 제2외국어/한문 영역으로 구성되며, 한국사는 필수 응시 영역이다. 국어, 수학, 직업탐구 영역은 '공통과목+선택과목' 구조로, 영어, 한국사, 제2외국어/한문 영역은 절대평가 방식이 유지된다.

국어 영역은 ‘화법과 작문’, ‘언어와 매체’ 중 하나를, 수학 영역은 ‘확률과 통계’, ‘미적분’, ‘기하’ 중 하나를 선택해 응시하게 된다. 탐구 영역은 사회･과학탐구 중 최대 2과목을, 직업탐구는 6과목 중 최대 2과목을 선택할 수 있으며, 직업탐구에서 2과목을 선택할 경우 ‘성공적인 직업생활’ 과목 응시가 필수다. 제2외국어/한문 영역은 9개 과목 중 1과목을 선택한다.

전 영역은 2015 개정 교육과정을 기반으로 출제되며, 수능 기본계획에 따라 EBS 수능 교재 및 강의와 간접 연계된다. 연계율은 문항 수 기준으로 50% 수준이다.

시각장애 수험생을 위해 점자문제지 외에도 화면낭독 프로그램용 파일과 필산 기능이 가능한 점자정보단말기도 제공된다. 온라인 응시 기회도 함께 마련돼, 당일 응시가 어려운 수험생의 불편을 줄일 계획이다.

응시 자격은 2026학년도 수능 응시 가능자 전원으로, 2025년 제1회 고졸 검정고시 지원자도 응시할 수 있다. 접수는 3월 31일(월)부터 4월 10일(목)까지 진행된다. 재학생은 재학 중인 학교에서, 졸업생은 출신 고교 또는 학원에서, 검정고시생은 주소지 관할 교육청 또는 응시 가능한 학원에서 접수할 수 있다. 응시 수수료는 재학생을 제외한 수험생에게 1만2천 원이 부과된다.

성적통지표는 7월 1일(화)에 교부되며, 표준점수, 백분위, 등급이 표시되지만 영어, 한국사, 제2외국어/한문 영역은 절대평가로 9등급만 제공된다. 한국사 미응시자는 시험이 무효 처리되어 성적통지표를 받을 수 없다.

한편 시험장 반입 금지 물품은 블루투스·결제 기능이 있는 모든 전자기기, 화면표시기(LCD, LED) 장치, 충전식 기기 전반이다. 반면 신분증, 수험표, 검은색 컴퓨터용 사인펜, 수정테이프, 샤프 등은 휴대 가능하다.

The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (Director Oh Seung-geol) announced the plan for conducting the June mock exam for the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on June 3rd (Tuesday) on March 25th.

The purpose of this mock exam is to provide students with an opportunity to diagnose and improve their academic abilities, as well as to assess the academic levels of the prospective test-takers for the 2026 CSAT in order to maintain an appropriate level of difficulty. The Institute plans to exclude problem types that are advantageous to students who have repeatedly trained in private education, and to present questions at a level that can be prepared for through school education and EBS-linked textbooks and lectures.

The exam is composed of sections in Korean, Mathematics, English, Korean History, Inquiry (Social Science, Science, Vocational), and a Second Foreign Language/Chinese Characters, with Korean History being a mandatory section. The Korean, Mathematics, and Vocational Inquiry sections follow a structure of 'Common Subjects + Elective Subjects', while the English, Korean History, and Second Foreign Language/Chinese Characters sections maintain an absolute evaluation method.

In the Korean section, students choose either 'Rhetoric and Composition' or 'Language and Media', and in the Mathematics section, they choose one of 'Probability and Statistics', 'Calculus', or 'Geometry' to take the exam. In the Inquiry section, students can choose up to 2 subjects from Social Science and Science Inquiry, and in Vocational Inquiry, they can choose up to 2 subjects out of 6, with 'Successful Career Life' being a mandatory subject if 2 subjects are chosen. In the Second Foreign Language/Chinese Characters section, students choose one subject out of 9.

The entire exam is based on the 2015 revised curriculum and is indirectly linked to EBS CSAT textbooks and lectures according to the basic plan of the CSAT. The linkage rate is around 50% based on the number of questions.

For visually impaired test-takers, in addition to Braille question papers, Braille information terminals that can also function as screen reader program files and embossing devices are provided. Online testing opportunities are also available to reduce inconvenience for test-takers who find it difficult to take the test on the day of the exam.

The eligibility to take the exam is open to all prospective 2026 CSAT test-takers, including those who applied for the 2025 first round of the High School Equivalency Examination. Applications will be accepted from March 31st (Monday) to April 10th (Thursday). Currently enrolled students can apply through their schools, graduates through their former high schools or academies, and High School Equivalency Examination candidates through their local education offices or eligible academies. An examination fee of 12,000 won is charged to test-takers other than currently enrolled students.

Score reports will be provided on July 1st (Tuesday), displaying standard scores, percentiles, and grades, but only 9 grades are provided for English, Korean History, and Second Foreign Language/Chinese Characters sections through absolute evaluation. Those who do not take the Korean History section will have their test invalidated and will not receive a score report.

Prohibited items in the exam room include all electronic devices with Bluetooth or payment functions, screen display devices (LCD, LED), and rechargeable devices. On the other hand, identification cards, admission tickets, black computer pens for signing, correction tape, sharpeners, etc., are allowed to be carried.
