전북현대모터스FC가 K리그1 우승 확정 후 ‘파이널 라운드’에 돌입한다.

K리그1 10회 우승의 역사를 쓴 전북현대가 오는 25일 오후 2시 전주월드컵경기장에서 김천상무와 K리그1 34라운드이자 ‘파이널 라운드’ 첫 번째 경기를 치른다.

‘파이널 라운드’ 첫 경기부터 2위 김천상무와 맞대결이 성사된 이번 경기에서 전북현대 거스 포옛 감독은 우승을 확정했음에도 불구하고 스쿼드의 힘을 빼지 않고 최고의 선수로 라인업을 구성해 경기에 임할 것을 예고했다.

전북현대는 K리그1 10번째 우승의 역사를 함께 만들어준 팬들에게 남은 경기에서도 최고의 경기로 보답하겠다는 의지다.

전북현대는 올 시즌 우승과 함께 한 시즌 역대 최다 홈 관중도 목표로 하고 있다.

이전 최다 관중 기록인 2015년의 330,856명을 올해 반드시 경신하겠다는 각오다.

지난 18일 21,899명이 입장해 현재 올 시즌 K리그1 누적 홈 관중은 315,105명으로 우승에 이어 홈 관중 기록의 역사도 눈앞에 두고 있다.

이날 경기에는 지난 18일 수원FC와의 경기에서 우승 확정과 함께 K리그1 200경기 출전을 기록한 송범근과 송민규의 출장 기념 시상을 진행한다.

송범근은 9월 ‘이달의 세이브상’에도 선정돼 시상과 함께 트로피가 전달되며 특히 지난 5월과 7월에 이어 올해에만 세 번째 수상의 영예를 안아 우승 팀의 골키퍼로서 면모를 보였다.

이날은 전주월드컵경기장 일원에서 전주비빔밥 축제가 개최되는 기간으로 교통 혼잡이 우려돼 대중교통 이용이 권장된다.

K리그1 우승 트로피가 전달되는 ‘우승 세리머니’는 오는 11월 8일 대전하나시티즌과의 경기 종료 후 그라운드에서 진행될 예정이다.

한편, 현재 김천상무 소속인 이동준, 맹성웅 선수는 오는 28일 전역해 원소속팀인 전북현대에 복귀할 예정이다.
