지난 9일 궁도대회를 시작으로 힘찬 시위를 당긴 ‘제52회 전주대사습놀이 전국대회’가 본격적인 국악의 성찬을 차려낸다.

전주시는 올해 전주대사습놀이 전국대회의 일환으로 국악 부문 경연뿐만 아니라, 학술 포럼부터 시민들을 위한 다채로운 기획 공연까지 전주 전역에서 풍성한 프로그램이 펼쳐질 예정이라고 20일 밝혔다.

먼저 오는 21일 오후 2시 한국전통문화전당에서는 대사습놀이 연계 학술포럼이 열린다.

‘공동체가 만든 무형문화유산 구축의 실천적 방안’을 주제로 진행되는 이번 포럼은 전통예술의 가치와 지속가능한 계승 방안을 함께 모색하는 자리로 꾸며질 예정이다.

이어 오는 22일부터 6월 8일까지 진행되는 본 경연에서는 판소리 명창부와 농악부, 기악부, 무용부 등 각 분야 최고의 실력자들이 대한민국 최고의 예인 자리를 두고 진검승부를 펼친다.

특히 오는 6월 8일 MBC 전국 생방송으로 진행되는 종합 본선 대회에서는 올해의 장원이 최종 가려질 예정이다.

또한 올해 전주대사습놀이 전국대회에서는 시민과 관광객들이 국악을 보다 가까이에서 체험하고 향유할 수 있도록 5대 기획 공연이 운영된다.

구체적으로 △대회의 성공을 기원하는 ‘전야제’(5월 23일) △역대 장원 수상자들의 품격 있는 무대를 만나는 ‘장원자의 밤-水適穿石(수적천석)’(5월 24일) △해학과 풍자를 바탕으로 소박한 일상에 담긴 웃음과 애환을 되짚어 보는 ‘70년대 해학창극 展’(5월 29일) △국악의 무한한 변신을 보여줄 퓨전 국악 무대 ‘창작의 밤’(5월 30일)이 차례로 이어진다.

이와 함께 오는 6월 5일 펼쳐지는 ‘팔도 한량 한마당 잔치’는 판소리 비전공자인 동호인들이 주인공이 돼 신명을 나누는 자리로, 국악이 전문가뿐만 아니라 모두가 함께 즐기는 일상의 문화임을 증명하는 자리로 채워진다.

Jeonju City announced on the 20th that as part of this year's Jeonju Daesaseupnori National Competition, a variety of rich programs will unfold throughout Jeonju, including not only competitions in traditional music but also academic forums and diverse performances planned for the citizens.

First, on the 21st at 2 p.m., a scholarly forum related to Daesaseupnori will be held at the Korean Traditional Culture Center. The forum, themed 'Practical Approaches to Establishing Intangible Cultural Heritage Created by the Community,' will be a place to explore the value of traditional arts and sustainable methods for their succession.

Following this, from the 22nd to June 8th, the main competition will take place, where the best performers in various fields such as Pansori, Nongak, instrumental music, and dance will compete for the title of the nation's top artist.

Especially on June 8th, during the comprehensive final competition broadcast nationwide by MBC, this year's champion will be determined.

Moreover, at this year's Jeonju Daesaseupnori National Competition, five major planned performances will be presented to allow citizens and tourists to experience and enjoy Korean music up close.

Specifically, these include △'Pre-festival' (May 23) to wish for the success of the competition, △'Night of the Champions - Water Flows, Stones Wear' (May 24) where former champions will showcase their dignified performances, △'Exhibition of 70s Haekchanggeuk based on satire and humor reflecting laughter and sorrows in simple daily life' (May 29), and △'Night of Creation' showcasing the infinite transformation of Korean music through fusion performances (May 30).

Additionally, the 'Paldo Hanryang Hanmadang Feast' on June 5 will be a gathering where non-professionals in Pansori will take center stage, proving that Korean music is a cultural aspect enjoyed by everyone, not just experts.
