앞으로는 부안에서 인천공항까지 공항버스를 이용해 갈 수 있게 된다. 또한 전주와 충남 서산간 고속버스 노선도 신설된다.

국토교통부(장관 김윤덕)는 `25년 하반기 접수된 시외·고속버스 신설 신청 건에 대해 검토를 거쳐 공항버스 노선 8개를 포함한 23개 시외·고속버스 노선을 새로 신설한다.

지역 주민들의 공항 접근성을 높이고, 환승 불편을 줄이기 위해 추진됐다. 특히, 그동안 철도 운행 횟수가 적거나 중간에 환승이 필요했던 지역을 중심으로 노선을 확대해 지역 간 연결성을 강화할 계획이다.

고속버스의 경우 서산↔전주(150km, 4회/일), 청주↔당진(103km, 2회/일), 청주↔보령(132km, 4회/일) 3개 노선을 신설한다. 서산·보령·당진~청주·전주 간 150km 이내임에도 불구하고 대전에서 환승해야 했던 불편을 개선하기 위해 새로 마련됐다.

또 제11차 국가관광전략회의에서 논의된 지방공항 및 관광 활성화 정책의 일환으로 공항버스 노선 8개를 신설한다.

신설되는 노선은 ▲김해공항↔전주↔익산↔군산, ▲청주공항↔청주북부↔김천↔구미↔동대구, ▲전주↔완주혁신도시↔청주공항, ▲인천공항↔인천↔해남↔완도, ▲화순↔장성↔인천공항, ▲인천공항↔영암↔해남, ▲서산↔당진↔청주북부↔청주공항, ▲부안↔서천↔인천공항

국토교통부는 특정 사업자의 독점적 운영에 따른 폐단을 방지하기 위해 이번 신설 노선의 운영 기간을 11년(=노선버스 차령)으로 제한하고 향후 노선 필요성과 운송 실적 및 기회의 형평성 등을 종합적으로 검토해 갱신 여부를 결정할 계획이다.

In the future, it will be possible to travel from Buan to Incheon Airport using an airport bus. Additionally, a new express bus route will be established between Jeonju and Seosan in Chungcheongnam-do.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Kim Yoon-deok) has reviewed the applications for new intercity and express bus routes received in the second half of 2025 and will establish 23 new intercity and express bus routes, including 8 airport bus routes.

This initiative is aimed at improving the accessibility to airports for local residents and reducing transfer inconveniences. Particularly, the plan is to expand routes focusing on areas where there have been limited railway services or required transfers in the middle, in order to enhance regional connectivity.

For express buses, three new routes will be established: Seosan ↔ Jeonju (150km, 4 times/day), Cheongju ↔ Dangjin (103km, 2 times/day), and Cheongju ↔ Boryeong (132km, 4 times/day). These routes have been newly created to address the inconvenience of having to transfer in Daejeon despite being within 150km between Seosan, Boryeong, Dangjin, Cheongju, and Jeonju.

As part of the local airport and tourism activation policy discussed at the 11th National Tourism Strategy Meeting, 8 new airport bus routes will be established.

The newly established routes include: Kimhae Airport ↔ Jeonju ↔ Iksan ↔ Gunsan, Cheongju Airport ↔ North Cheongju ↔ Gimcheon ↔ Gumi ↔ East Daegu, Jeonju ↔ Wanju Innovation City ↔ Cheongju Airport, Incheon Airport ↔ Incheon ↔ Haenam ↔ Wando, Hwasun ↔ Jangseong ↔ Incheon Airport, Incheon Airport ↔ Yeongam ↔ Haenam, Seosan ↔ Dangjin ↔ North Cheongju ↔ Cheongju Airport, and Buan ↔ Seocheon ↔ Incheon Airport.

To prevent the drawbacks of monopolistic operation by specific operators, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to limit the operation period of the newly established routes to 11 years (equal to the bus replacement cycle) and comprehensively review the necessity of future routes, transportation performance, and fairness of opportunities to decide on renewal.
