‘제20회 전주평생학습한마당’이 시민들의 높은 관심과 참여 속 성황리에 막을 내렸다.

전주시는 지난 5일과 6일 이틀간 한국전통문화전당 일원에서 시민과 평생학습 기관·단체가 함께 그동안의 배움의 성과를 나누고, 새로운 배움을 경험하는 축제인 ‘제20회 전주평생학습한마당’을 개최했다.

올해로 스무 번째를 맞은 전주평생학습한마당은 ‘知(지)속전주, 함께잇知(지)’를 주제로 열렸다.

올해 주제는 전주시민 개개인의 배움이 일상에서 지속되고, 배움을 매개로 세대와 세대, 사람과 사람, 지역의 다양한 평생학습 자원이 서로 연결되는 평생학습도시 전주의 가치를 담고 있다.

전주지역 평생학습 기관·단체 125곳이 참여한 이번 한마당에서는 100여 가지 무료 체험 프로그램을 비롯해 평생학습 기관·단체 홍보·체험, 평생학습 동아리 공연, 성인문해 학습자 작품 전시 등 남녀노소 누구나 배우고 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐졌다.


구체적으로 행사 첫날인 5일 오전 10시 30분 열린 개막 행사에서는 평생학습 관계자와 시민들이 함께 제20회 전주평생학습한마당의 개막을 축하하고, 시민과 함께 성장해 온 전주 평생학습의 의미와 앞으로의 방향을 공유했다.

On the 5th and 6th of last month, Jeonju City held the 20th Jeonju Lifelong Learning Festival at the Korean Traditional Culture Center, where citizens and lifelong learning institutions and organizations came together to share their learning achievements and experience new learning opportunities.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Jeonju Lifelong Learning Festival was held under the theme of "Knowing Jeonju, Knowing Together."

This year's theme embodies the value of Jeonju as a lifelong learning city where the learning of each individual citizen continues in their daily lives, connecting various lifelong learning resources across generations, people, and regions through learning as a medium.

With the participation of 125 lifelong learning institutions and organizations in the Jeonju area, this year's festival offered over 100 free experiential programs, as well as promotional activities and experiences by lifelong learning institutions and organizations, performances by lifelong learning clubs, and an exhibition of works by adult literacy learners, providing a diverse range of programs for people of all ages to learn and enjoy.

Specifically, at the opening ceremony held at 10:30 am on the first day of the event, lifelong learning officials and citizens celebrated the opening of the 20th Jeonju Lifelong Learning Festival together, sharing the meaning of lifelong learning in Jeonju and discussing the direction for the future growth of lifelong learning in the city.
