전북특별자치도가 전북특별자치도민체육대회에서 하계올림픽 전북 유치를 향한 도민의 뜨거운 염원을 하나로 모았다.

도는 지난 4일 진안군 공설운동장에서 열린 제63회 전북특별자치도민체육대회 개회식과 연계해 하계올림픽 유치 기원 퍼포먼스와 홍보부스 운영 등 현장 홍보활동을 펼쳤다.

이번 행사는 도내 14개 시군 선수단과 도민이 한자리에 모이는 도민체전을 통해 하계올림픽 유치에 대한 관심과 참여를 높이고, 전북의 유치 의지를 결집하기 위해 마련됐다.

개회식에서는 치어리딩 공연과 관객 참여형 응원전을 시작으로 진안지역 학생과 14개 시군 선수단 등 80명으로 구성된 올림픽 유치 응원단이 현수막과 깃발, 오색 풍선을 들고 입장하며 유치 분위기를 끌어올렸다.

관람석에서도 응원단의 행진에 맞춰 박수와 환호가 이어졌으며, 선수단과 도민들이 함께 손을 흔들며 올림픽 유치 응원에 동참했다.

이어 이원택 전북특별자치도지사를 비롯한 도내 시장·군수와 국회의원, 전북특별자치도의회 의장, 전북특별자치도교육감, 전북특별자치도체육회장 등 주요 내빈이 참여한 LED 성화 점화 퍼포먼스가 진행됐다. 성화 점화와 함께 올림픽 유치를 기원하는 응원 구호가 울려 퍼지자 선수단과 관람객들도 한목소리로 화답했다.

Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province gathered the fervent wishes of its residents towards attracting the Summer Olympics to Jeollabuk through the Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province Residents Sports Competition.

On the 4th, the province held on-site promotional activities such as performances and promotional booth operations for the bid to host the Summer Olympics in Jeollabuk, in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the 63rd Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province Residents Sports Competition at the Gongseol Sports Complex in Jinan County.

This event was organized to raise interest and participation in attracting the Summer Olympics to Jeollabuk through the Jeollabuk Residents Sports Competition, where athletes from 14 cities and counties within the province and residents gathered in one place to consolidate the province's determination to host the Olympics.

Starting with cheerleading performances and audience participation in cheering, a group of 80 members, including students from Jinan area and athletes from the 14 cities and counties, entered with banners, flags, and colorful balloons, creating an atmosphere of support for the bid.

Applause and cheers followed the march of the support group from the audience seats, as athletes and residents waved hands together in support of the Olympic bid.

Following this, an LED torch lighting performance was held with key figures such as Governor Lee Won-taek of Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province, mayors, county heads, members of the National Assembly, the chairman of the Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province Council, the superintendent of education, and the chairman of the Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province Sports Association in attendance. As the support slogans for the Olympic bid echoed along with the torch lighting, athletes and spectators responded in unison.
