고용노동부와 한국장애인고용공단이 장애인 일자리 창출과 고용 환경 개선을 위한 아이디어 발굴에 나선다.

양 기관은 장애인에게 적합한 신규 직무를 발굴하고 실효성 있는 고용 확대 방안을 마련하기 위해 ‘2026년 장애인 고용확대 아이디어 공모전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

올해로 8회째를 맞이한 이번 공모전은 제안된 아이디어를 단순 시상에 그치지 않고, 정부 정책 및 기업 지원 사업과 직접 연계해 실질적인 고용 확대로 이어지도록 하기 위해 마련됐다.
공모 분야는 크게 ▲직무개발 ▲정책·제도·사업모델 등 2개 부문으로 나뉜다.

직무개발 부문은 장애인의 특성을 고려해 수행할 수 있는 신규 직무와 지속 가능한 고용모델을 제안하는 분야다.

정책·제도·사업모델 부문은 현장의 장애인 고용을 실질적으로 확대할 수 있는 정책 제안과 제도 개선안, 또는 구체적인 비즈니스 사업 방안을 제시하면 된다.

참가 희망자는 두 가지 분야 중 하나를 선택해 아이디어 기획 및 구체적인 실행 계획을 작성한 후, 오는 8월 14일까지 공모전 공식 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다.

접수된 작품들은 심사를 거쳐 오는 8월 31일 한국장애인고용공단 및 공모전 홈페이지를 통해 최종 수상작이 발표될 예정이다.

시상은 총 7개 팀을 선정해 포상한다. ▲대상(1팀)에게는 고용노동부 장관상과 상금 200만 원이 수여되며, ▲우수상(2팀)에는 한국장애인고용공단 이사장상과 상금 각 100만 원, ▲장려상(4팀)에는 이사장상과 상금 각 50만 원이 주어진다.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled are stepping up efforts to discover ideas for creating jobs for people with disabilities and improving the employment environment.

The two organizations announced that they will be hosting the "2026 Disability Employment Expansion Idea Contest" to unearth new job roles suitable for people with disabilities and devise effective strategies to expand employment.

In its 8th year, this year's contest is designed not only to reward proposed ideas but also to directly link them to government policies and corporate support programs to lead to substantial employment expansion.

The contest is divided into two main categories: ▲ Job Development and ▲ Policy, System, and Business Model.

The Job Development category focuses on proposing new job roles that take into account the characteristics of people with disabilities and sustainable employment models.

The Policy, System, and Business Model category requires suggestions for policies, system improvements, or specific business proposals that can effectively expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the field.

Participants can choose one of the two categories, develop their ideas, and outline specific implementation plans, then submit them online through the official contest website by August 14.

The submitted works will undergo evaluation, and the final winning entries will be announced on August 31 through the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled and the contest website.

A total of 7 teams will be selected for awards. The ▲ Grand Prize (1 team) will receive the Minister of Employment and Labor Award and a prize of 2 million Korean won, while the ▲ Excellence Award (2 teams) will be awarded the Chairman's Award from the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled and a prize of 1 million Korean won each, and the ▲ Encouragement Award (4 teams) will receive the Chairman's Award and a prize of 500,000 Korean won each.
