부안장애인종합복지관(관장 노영웅, 이하 부안복지관)은 16일 행안면 소재 미화3색김밥&카페와 장애인 미술품 구독서비스 운영을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 장애예술인의 지속적인 창작 활동을 지원하고 지역사회 내 나눔과 상생 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

장애인 미술품 구독서비스는 부안복지관 장애인직업지원사업의 하나로, 장애인 미술작가들이 창작한 작품을 지역 내 카페와 음식점, 병원, 기업 등 다양한 사업장에 정기적으로 전시하는 사업이다. 참여 업체는 월 3만 원의 후원금으로 작품을 구독하며, 후원금은 해당 작가에게 직접 전달돼 창작 활동비와 경제적 자립 기반 마련에 활용된다.

이번 협약에 따라 미화3색김밥&카페는 매장을 찾는 고객들에게 음식과 함께 장애예술인의 작품을 감상할 수 있는 문화공간을 제공하게 된다. 전시 작품은 매월 교체가 가능해 계절과 매장 분위기에 맞는 다양한 작품을 선보일 예정이며, 방문객들은 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 문화예술을 향유하는 동시에 장애예술인을 응원하는 의미 있는 경험을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

현재 부안 지역에서는 이번 협약에 참여한 미화3색김밥&카페를 비롯해 포레도 치유정원, 파리바게뜨 전북부안점, 뽕디이레농원 등 여러 지역 업체가 장애인 미술품 구독서비스에 동참하며 장애예술인의 창작 활동을 지원하고 있다.

부안복지관은 이 사업이 장애인 작가들에게는 지속적인 창작 의욕을 높이는 계기가 되고, 참여 업체에는 사회공헌 실천과 함께 따뜻한 기업 이미지를 구축하는 기회가 되는 등 지역 상생의 모범 사례로 자리매김하고 있다고 설명했다.

박현신 부안복지관 사회복지사는 “장애인 미술품 구독서비스는 단순한 작품 전시를 넘어 장애예술인의 재능을 지역사회와 연결하고 경제적 자립을 돕는 실질적인 창구”라며 “미화3색김밥&카페를 비롯해 따뜻한 나눔을 실천하고 있는 지역 업체들의 참여가 좋은 선례가 되어 앞으로 더 많은 사업장이 장애예술인의 꿈과 가능성을 응원해 주길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 부안복지관은 장애인의 일자리 확대와 안정적인 사회참여를 위해 장애인일자리사업, 장애인직업지원사업, 중증장애인동료상담사업 등 다양한 지원사업을 운영하고 있다.

This agreement was established to support the continuous creative activities of disabled artists and to spread a culture of sharing and mutual growth within the local community.

The subscription service for artworks created by people with disabilities is one of the projects under Booan Welfare Center's program for supporting disabled individuals in their artistic endeavors. It involves regularly exhibiting artworks created by disabled artists in various local establishments such as cafes, restaurants, hospitals, and businesses. Participating businesses subscribe to the artworks by providing a monthly sponsorship fee of 30,000 won, which is directly delivered to the artists to support their creative activities and promote economic independence.

Under this agreement, Miwha 3-color Kimbap & Cafe will now provide a cultural space where customers visiting the establishment can enjoy artworks created by disabled artists along with their meals. The exhibited artworks will be changed monthly, showcasing a variety of pieces suitable for the season and ambiance of the venue. Visitors are expected to have a meaningful experience supporting disabled artists while naturally appreciating culture and art in their daily lives.

Currently, several local businesses in Booan, including Miwha 3-color Kimbap & Cafe, Foredo Healing Garden, Paris Baguette Jeonbuk Booan Branch, and Pongdi Ire Farm, are participating in the subscription service for artworks created by people with disabilities, supporting the creative activities of disabled artists.

Booan Welfare Center explained that this initiative serves as a model case of mutual growth in the region, providing disabled artists with motivation for continuous creativity and offering participating businesses an opportunity to establish a warm corporate image through social contribution.

Park Hyun-shin, a social worker at Booan Welfare Center, stated, "The subscription service for artworks created by people with disabilities serves as a practical platform that goes beyond simple art exhibitions, connecting the talents of disabled artists with the local community and supporting economic independence." He added, "The participation of local businesses like Miwha 3-color Kimbap & Cafe in warm sharing practices sets a good example, and we hope that more businesses will support the dreams and potential of disabled artists in the future."

Furthermore, Booan Welfare Center operates various support programs such as job creation for people with disabilities, vocational support for disabled individuals, and a program for severe disability peer counseling to expand job opportunities for disabled individuals and ensure stable social participation.
