전북교육청, 특수교육대상자 전공과·대학 입학 설명회 개최

전북교육청은 지난 15일 창조나래 시청각실에서 ‘2027학년도 특수교육대상자 특수학교 전공과 및 대학 입학 설명회’를 개최했다.

이번 설명회는 특수교육대상학생과 보호자, 특수교사 등 330여 명이 참석한 가운데 특수학교 전공과와 대학 진학에 필요한 정보를 제공하고, 학생의 적성과 진로 희망에 맞는 진학 설계를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

오전에는 한경국립대학교, 우석대학교, 대구대학교가 참여해 특수교육대상학생 입학전형과 지원제도를 안내했다. 또 도내외 6개 대학이 참여한 1대1 상담 부스에서는 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 개별 진학 상담이 진행됐다.

오후에는 특수학교 전공과와 취업 관련 설명회가 이어졌다. 특수학교 전공과는 고등학교 과정을 마친 특수교육대상학생이 직업교육과 사회적응교육을 통해 자립생활과 취업을 준비하는 과정이다.

이날 설명회에서는 전공과 운영 사례와 졸업 후 취업 사례가 공유됐으며, 한국장애인고용공단 전북지사와 연계한 취업 지원제도도 안내됐다.

최재일 유초등특수교육과장은 “특수교육대상학생과 학부모가 정확한 진로·진학 정보를 바탕으로 진로를 선택할 수 있도록 맞춤형 지원을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

The Jeonbuk Office of Education held a '2027 Special Education School Major and University Admission Information Session for Special Education Students' at the Changjo Narae Audiovisual Room on the 15th.

The event, attended by around 330 special education students, guardians, and special education teachers, was organized to provide information on special education school majors and university admissions, and to support tailored career planning based on students' aptitude and career aspirations.

In the morning session, Hankyung National University, Wooseok University, and Daegu University participated to provide guidance on admission procedures and support systems for special education students. Additionally, individual career counseling sessions were conducted at 1:1 consultation booths set up by 6 universities from within and outside the province for students and parents.

In the afternoon, there was a session on special education school majors and employment-related information. The special education school major is a program where special education students who have completed high school receive vocational education and social adaptation training to prepare for independent living and employment.

During the event, cases of operating special education school majors and employment after graduation were shared, and information on employment support systems in collaboration with the Jeonbuk branch of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled was also provided.

Choi Jae-il, head of the Special Education Department at Yoo Elementary School, stated, "We will continue to expand tailored support to enable special education students and parents to choose their career paths based on accurate career and education information."
