전북특별자치도의회는 16일 제13대 의회 원 구성 이후 첫 회기인 제430회 임시회를 개회하고 오는 30일까지 15일간 의정활동에 들어갔다.

도의회는 회기 첫날 제1차 본회의에서 민선 9기 출범에 따른 도정 및 교육·학예 행정 시책 방향을 도지사와 교육감으로부터 청취한다. 또 전북특별자치도가 제출한 제2회 추가경정예산안에 대한 제안설명을 시작으로 본격적인 안건 심의에 들어간다.

17일부터 29일까지는 본회의를 휴회하고 상임위원회와 예산결산특별위원회 활동을 진행한다. 각 상임위원회는 17일부터 23일까지 소관 실·국·원에 대한 하반기 업무보고를 받고, 추경안과 각종 안건을 심의할 예정이다.

24일부터 29일까지는 예산결산특별위원회가 각 상임위원회의 예비심사를 거친 제2회 추경안을 심사한다. 예결위는 사업의 실효성과 시급성, 불요불급한 예산 여부 등을 중점적으로 살필 계획이다.

회기 마지막 날인 30일에는 제2차 본회의를 열어 각 상임위원회와 예결위에서 심사한 안건을 최종 의결하고 임시회를 마무리한다.

김희수 의장은 “의회의 문턱을 낮춰 도민의 목소리를 듣고 민생을 풍요롭게 만들겠다”며 “도민의 행복과 지역 발전을 위한 정책에는 협력하되, 도민의 이익에 반하는 행정에 대해서는 감시와 견제 역할을 충실히 하겠다”고 말했다.

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Council opened its first session of the 430th provisional session on the 16th, following the formation of the 13th council members, and engaged in legislative activities for 15 days until the 30th.

On the first day of the session, during the first plenary session, the Council listened to the directions on provincial and education/cultural administration policies following the inauguration of the 9th local administration from the Governor and the Superintendent of Education. They began the deliberation on substantive agenda items starting with an explanation of the 2nd supplementary budget proposal submitted by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

From the 17th to the 29th, the plenary session will be adjourned, and the standing committees and the budget settlement special committee will be active. Each standing committee will receive reports on the second half of the year's work related to their respective departments from the 17th to the 23rd and is scheduled to deliberate on the supplementary budget and various other agenda items.

From the 24th to the 29th, the budget settlement special committee will review the 2nd supplementary budget proposal that has undergone preliminary examination by each standing committee. The committee plans to focus on examining the effectiveness and urgency of the projects, as well as the necessity of the budget.

On the last day of the session, the 30th, the Council will hold the second plenary session to make final resolutions on the agenda items reviewed by each standing committee and the budget settlement committee, concluding the provisional session.

Chairman Kim Hee-soo stated, "We will lower the threshold of the council to listen to the voices of the residents and make their livelihood prosperous," adding, "We will cooperate on policies for the happiness of the residents and regional development, but we will faithfully fulfill our role of monitoring and restraining administrative actions that go against the interests of the residents."
