정읍시약사회와 정읍시여약사회는 지난 15일 정읍시장애인종합복지관에서 ‘여름애 건강 한 끼 삼계탕’ 나눔 행사를 열고 지역 장애인 200여 명에게 삼계탕을 제공했다.

이번 행사는 여름철 무더위 속에서 장애인들의 기력 회복을 돕고 지역사회 나눔 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

정읍시약사회와 여약사회는 삼계탕 재료를 기탁했으며, 복지관은 이를 직접 조리해 이용자들의 점심 식사로 제공했다.

두 단체는 2021년부터 매년 여름철 보양식 나눔을 이어오며 지역 장애인의 건강과 복지 증진을 지원하고 있다.

정옥란 정읍시여약사회장은 “건강 취약계층에게 여름철 더위는 더 큰 부담이 될 수 있다”며 “이번 나눔이 건강 회복에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

복지관 관계자는 “장애인 이용자들의 건강한 여름나기를 위해 재료를 지원해 준 정읍시약사회와 여약사회에 감사드린다”며 “지역사회 단체와 연계하고 소통하는 복지관이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeongeup Pharmacists Association and the Jeongeup Female Pharmacists Association held a sharing event called 'Healthy Summer Meal Samgyetang' for over 200 local disabled individuals at the Jeongeup Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center on the 15th.

The event was organized to help restore the energy of disabled individuals during the summer heat and to promote a culture of sharing in the local community.

The Jeongeup Pharmacists Association and the Female Pharmacists Association donated the ingredients for the samgyetang, and the welfare center cooked and provided it as a lunch for the users.

These two organizations have been supporting the health and welfare enhancement of local disabled individuals by continuing to provide nourishing meals during the summer season since 2021.

Jeong Ok-ran, the head of the Jeongeup Female Pharmacists Association, expressed, "The summer heat can be an even greater burden for the health vulnerable population," and hoped that this sharing would help with their health recovery.

A welfare center official thanked the Jeongeup Pharmacists Association and the Female Pharmacists Association for providing the ingredients to ensure a healthy summer for the disabled users, and stated, "We will strive to become a welfare center that collaborates and communicates with local community organizations."
