사단법인 완주군자원봉사센터는 지난 15일 자원봉사센터에서 취약계층 지원을 위한 ‘희망여름 착!착!착! 나눔 캠페인’을 진행했다.

이번 캠페인은 전북사회복지공동모금회 지원사업으로 추진됐으며, 전북 도내 14개 시·군 자원봉사센터가 공동으로 참여했다.

완주군자원봉사센터는 완주 지역 로컬 식재료와 여름 이불로 구성된 800만 원 상당의 꾸러미 100상자를 제작해 각 읍·면 행정복지센터 추천을 받은 취약계층 가정에 전달했다.

이날 캠페인에는 센터 소속 자원봉사자와 케이워터기술 주식회사 전주사업소 임직원 등 20여 명이 참여해 물품 포장과 전달에 힘을 보탰다.

이기성 완주군자원봉사센터 이사장은 “폭염은 취약계층에게 더 큰 어려움으로 다가오는 만큼 지역사회의 관심이 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 민·관·기업이 함께하는 나눔 활동을 통해 복지사각지대 해소에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

완주군자원봉사센터는 사랑의 밥차, 찾아가는 자원봉사, 전문봉사단 활동, 기업 사회공헌 연계사업 등을 통해 지역사회 나눔문화 확산을 추진하고 있다.

The nonprofit organization Wanju County Volunteer Center conducted the 'Hopeful Summer Sharing Campaign' at the volunteer center on the 15th to support vulnerable groups.

This campaign was carried out as part of the Jeonbuk Social Welfare Community Fundraising Association's support project, with 14 city and county volunteer centers in Jeonbuk Province participating jointly.

Wanju County Volunteer Center produced 100 boxes worth 8 million won, consisting of local food ingredients and summer blankets in the Wanju area, and delivered them to vulnerable households recommended by each town's administrative welfare center.

On the day of the campaign, about 20 people, including volunteer center volunteers and employees from K-Water Technology's Jeonju branch, participated in packing and delivering the items.

Lee Gi-seong, the director of Wanju County Volunteer Center, said, "As the heatwave poses greater difficulties for vulnerable groups, community interest is crucial," adding, "We will continue to strive to address blind spots in welfare through sharing activities involving citizens, government, and companies."

Wanju County Volunteer Center is promoting the spread of a sharing culture in the local community through activities such as Love's Food Truck, Outreach Volunteer Service, Special Volunteer Group activities, and corporate social contribution projects.
