남원시는 지난 15일 남원시노인복지관에서 관내 사회연대경제기업 및 관계자들과 함께 ‘초복 맞이 삼계탕 나눔 행사’를 열고 배식 봉사활동을 진행했다.

이번 행사는 취약계층 어르신들에게 보양식을 제공해 여름철 건강한 생활을 돕고, 지역 사회연대경제기업 간 협력과 공동체 의식을 높기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에는 서남환경, 지리산처럼영농조합법인, 메밀꽃피는항아리, 지리산맑은물춘향골영농조합법인, 하이오백, 웅치마을영농회, 비즌양조 등 관내 사회적기업과 마을기업 7개소, 남원시공동체지원센터가 참여했다.

나눔 행사에 앞서 이들 기업과 남원시노인복지관은 지속적인 사회공헌 협력체계 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 협약을 통해 취약계층 지원과 지역사회 문제 해결을 위한 협력을 이어가기로 했다.

이날 제공된 삼계탕은 남원지역 사회적기업인 지리산처럼영농조합법인이 생산한 제품으로, 지역 생산과 소비, 사회 환원을 연결하는 사례로 의미를 더했다.

행사 이후에는 양충모 남원시장과 사회연대경제기업 대표들이 간담회를 갖고 지역 사회연대경제 활성화 방안을 논의했다. 기업 대표들은 판로 개척과 자생력 강화를 위한 행정적 지원 필요성을 전달했다.

양충모 시장은 “사회적 가치 실현을 위해 노력하는 사회연대경제 주체들의 헌신에 감사드린다”며 “현장의 의견을 검토해 남원시 사회연대경제가 지역 경쟁력을 높이는 기반으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

On the 15th, Namwon City held a 'Chobok Samgyetang Sharing Event' at the Namwon Senior Welfare Center with local social solidarity economy enterprises and stakeholders, conducting a meal service volunteer activity.

This event was organized to provide nourishing meals to vulnerable elderly individuals to support healthy living in the summer and to enhance cooperation and community consciousness among local social solidarity economy enterprises.

Participating in the event were seven local social enterprises and village enterprises, including Seonan Environment, Jirisan Like Farming Cooperative, Buckwheat Flower Pot, Jirisan Clear Water Chunhyang Valley Farming Cooperative, High O Baek, Woongchi Village Farming Association, and Beezen Brewery.

Prior to the sharing event, these enterprises and the Namwon Senior Welfare Center signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a continuous social contribution cooperation system. Through this agreement, they decided to continue their cooperation for supporting vulnerable groups and solving local community issues.

The Samgyetang provided on that day was produced by the local social enterprise Jirisan Like Farming Cooperative, adding significance as a case connecting local production, consumption, and social return.

After the event, Mayor Yang Chung-mo and representatives of social solidarity economy enterprises held a meeting to discuss ways to activate local social solidarity economy. The enterprise representatives emphasized the need for administrative support for expanding markets and strengthening self-sufficiency.

Mayor Yang Chung-mo expressed gratitude for the dedication of social solidarity economy actors striving to realize social values, stating, "I will support the growth of Namwon City's social solidarity economy as a foundation for enhancing local competitiveness by reviewing on-site opinions."
