남원시는 지난 16일 시립도서관 4층 지리산소극장에서 관내 민간사회복지 종사자를 대상으로 ‘2026년 민간사회복지사 역량강화 교육’ 3차 과정을 실시했다.

이번 교육은 민선 9기 주요 공약사업인 ‘복지근무자 처우개선 및 권익증진’의 실천 과제로 추진됐다. 민간 사회복지사의 실무 역량을 높이고 안정적인 지역복지 전달체계를 마련하기 위한 취지다.

이날 교육은 박인수 토탈웰니스 대표가 강사로 나서 ‘갈등관리와 힐링소통을 통한 변화의 실천’을 주제로 진행했다. 복지 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 갈등 관리 방법과 소통 방안을 중심으로 강의가 이뤄졌다.

남원시는 앞서 5월 1차 교육에서 ‘혁신 리더십’, 6월 2차 교육에서 ‘생성형 AI 활용 스마트 복지행정’을 주제로 교육을 진행했다. 마지막 4차 교육은 오는 9월 10일 열릴 예정이다.

양충모 남원시장은 “복지 현장에서 시민을 위해 일하는 민간 사회복지사의 역량 강화는 시민 복지 만족도와도 연결된다”며 “복지 현장 근무자의 처우개선과 권익증진을 위한 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

This education program was carried out as a practical task of the key promise project of the 9th elected government, 'Improvement of Welfare Workers' Conditions and Promotion of Rights'. The aim was to enhance the practical skills of private social welfare workers and establish a stable local welfare delivery system.

On that day, the education session was conducted with Park In-soo, the CEO of Total Wellness, as the lecturer, focusing on the theme of 'Practicing Change through Conflict Management and Healing Communication'. The lecture centered around conflict management methods and communication strategies that can occur in welfare settings.

Previously, Namwon City conducted the first education session in May on 'Innovative Leadership' and the second session in June on 'Utilizing Generative AI for Smart Welfare Administration'. The final fourth session of education is scheduled to take place on September 10.

Mayor Yang Chung-mo stated, "Enhancing the capacity of private social welfare workers who work for the citizens in the welfare field is directly linked to citizen welfare satisfaction," and added, "We will continue to support the improvement of working conditions and promotion of rights for welfare workers in the field."
